I watched the video - it doesn't look like she wanted to run over anyone. It's more like she got really nervous.

Words cannot describe how infuriating this is to me. I have only contempt for these depraved people who conduct themselves like mobsters who feel untouchable and almighty because of their public roles they were given by an authoritarian regime. They're acting just like Gestapo goons, just so eager and willing to escalate things and demonstrate their power. And they're fudging unprofessional to boot. Every law officer is trained to not stand in front or behind a vehicle and much less shoot at a moving car. Because it potentially puts themselves and others in danger. This effing idiot just shot like a rookie ass which could have easily hit one of his own colleagues. And even worse, as could be witnessed, it could have threatened the life and health of innocent bystanders as well, when the vehicle accelerated uncontrollably and crashed into a parking car due to the driver being rendered paralized.
But this comes as no surprise, given the lax hiring standards under which they recruit all these unfit people.

And then you have these despicable officials who immediately try to use it for their propaganda, labelling that person a domestic terrorist and lying about facts so effortlessly is so disgusting. They even try/ tried to ban Minnesota officials from investigating (because this might hurt their narrative).
This is all so sickening. I think, from here on out I'm going to ask any American that I happen to come across in the future whether they've worked for this institution or this evil administration altogether. Whether I can ever set foot again in this country is highly questionable.

Ed Simons posted a pretty good analysis from the NYT on Bluesky last week. Though I also think it's worth drawing attention to the video below from Kerry Burgess. It points out that Jonathan Ross was already getting ready to grab his gun before he moved to the front of the car (45 secs onwards): he moved his phone to his left hand, so that his right hand was free to shoot.
I'm not an American lawyer but that sure feels pre-meditated to me.

We're continuing to see more footage of ICE treating people appallingly on social media. They're not all making the 10 O' Clock news but they're not hard to find on Twitter etc.

ICE of course leads back to Donald Trump. He's also causing international issues with his intention to take Greenland (which Russians might find amusing but the rest of us do not).
At some point, some of the Trump voters are going to realise they made a mistake. We have to hope that they have the guts to admit this. It's not easy to admit you were wrong, and those who do so should be welcomed and forgiven by the "other side". How else do you move away from this lunatic and the situation he is creating domestically and internationally?

I fail to come to additional words on how to act or feel towards this situation, than what has already been written in criticism of these events. 

When I grew up, I was taught "treat your neighbor, as you want to be treated." Simple concept, right? It was something ingrained in me from: home, school, organized sports/activities, etc. It was so ingrained into me that it has come at a detriment at times within my own life experiences. Seeing what happened again today, leaves a big hole in my soul, and I know I'm not the only one.

Who the fuck wants to excuse this?
