I honestly am not well versed in the futbol, but I know of a couple of "clubs." You may have them in spades, but in our American hearts, and only if we play our cards right, we can find a sports team that is the equivalent to a diamond in the rough.

Also, this one is for Whitenoise, a flashback of mine. Gonna be 8 years old soon...

Hey Poul,

Yes, Neorev is I. :)

This EP accompanies my last album Disrupt The Scene. Been working on getting my back catalogue up on streaming sites and in digital music stores. Finally got it all up with this release as I work on the next phase of Neorev.

Cheers for the love,
- Mike

I played a set with some friends at a Anime Convention afterparty this weekend. The set is geared to original, remixed, and mashup game/anime/japan centric tracks. I've wanted to do this for a long time (play a game set live). Here's the recording.

That would have blown my mind. If I had a mind.
"We going up!" and then pogo for the stars
"why yes, yes you are crazy and I love you for it!" Whirly

So i have an album coming out, here's the teaser :3

there's some chems/90s electronic influence spread in there

^ Splendid. Do I hear a Prince sample at 0.59?

I did a remix for UK pop/soul/r&b artist Kymberley Kennedy that was released on her Pacify EP, which is out on streaming services and in digital music stores.

The remix is also getting some love on Dancing Astronaut, a well known electronic dance music blog/community. It is featured on their Launchpad 50: NYE Party Prep Playlist...

Last night my radio station participated in Vinylthon for Record Store Day 2018, playing nothing but vinyl records for 24 hours (Friday evening - Saturday evening).

I ended up filling in for a 1-2am shift and did an all Chemical Brothers set. It's rough, not beatmatched at all, and, well, analog (levels not matched, some distortion, line noise from one of the turntables) but y'all might enjoy it!

Chemical Brothers on Wax - 69 minutes, 15 tracks

Tracklist
Spoiler

Let Forever Be 12" - A Side, full
Elektrobank 12" - A Side, track 1
Electronic Battle Weapon 8/9 - 8 Side
Exit Planet Dust 2xLP - D Side, track 1

Never for money, always for love.

I'm listening to this now. It sounds GREAT. Did you boost the bass at all? It's coming through so much fuller than a 128kbps mp3 has any right to.

EDIT: So. It turns out I've never heard those Harpoon tracks before... I don't suppose any one has any deliciously tasty rips of those bad boys do they?

Haven't found time to listen to white noise's session, but now I'm interested in those harpoons. I know Harpoon and Snooprah - what else is there?
no idea, no idea

These are old solo tracks by Tom, released as 'Harpoon' on a 12" with fellow Ariel member, Matt Berry. I don't know how I didn't know they existed. But they're very tasty.

Were you on the previous version of the forum? WN took us on a little Harpoon adventure with a thread, a vinyl purchase and a rip.  Someone then took WN's audio and uploaded it to YT, as per THIS thread.
Oh here's the original THREAD.. Which I'm very kind to find for you cos it's 2am and I have beer in me.

**EDIT** While we're on the subject of those Harpoon tracks, am I the only one who thinks the pitched up sounding vocal noise on Pine may have been sampled from My Bloody Valentine's Soon ? There's an acapella right at the end of Soon.
(Say no if you disagree, cos otherwise I won't know!)

Oh, so it seems I already knew about those tracks but totally forget them. Shame on me.

You truly are! Thank you. The mediafire link still worked, with the password :))

I forget what the exact period was that I stopped coming here for a little, but it seems to be right when A LOT of big forum things happened. Bummer. But nice that we have the archived version that I can be creepy and peruse like a stalker from the future.

Nothing intentionally boosted. Might just be the magic of vinyl. We were using a 15+ year old crossfader as our phono preamp, which I kept in the yellow and red for most of the show. That could have nicely saturated the signal on top of the vinyl clarity.

I might do a higher quality rip of those Harpoon tracks sometime soon, now that I have access to a better turntable and that preamp. There'll be less line noise in Pine this time.

Great spot. 100% believe it. Andrew Weatherall and MBV would have been on his radar at the time too.
