hey all. anybody know where the drums are from on this thing? today on four tet's instagram story [yeah, really] he's just spinning some records..and one of them is absolutely a dead ringer. any idea what this record is? is it the source or is it sampling lfb?
Eight or over.

Just had a quick peek. It's a white label, which seems odd for an older record that might have been sampled. I would Shazam it but I'm at the studio and there's a lot of other noises going on.

The 3rd or 4th one with a black label?
Not sure it's the same drums, although I hear the similarity.
You can DL the LFB parts here and listen to the drums isolated.

Galvanize on that website too.

Second that. Whats the origin of those two? I know they made a remix contest for The Salmon Dance, but never heard of something similar for Let Forever Be or Galvanize
no idea, no idea

The did a remix contest for Galvanize. I think the grand prize was a Microkorg and a few other things.
