also the tutti frutti mix of tom rowlands

Added to the list.I'm waiting for the cd to arrive. Got the 12" allready.
I also finally got XTC remix on vinyl and cd

I believe AnType still handles the Chemical Brothers Discogs listing... and he's always kept it pretty legit. That's probably the best place to start.

Things you're missing - the original acid remix of The Charlatans' Feel The Pressure. Never formally released but they played it in DJ sets in 2003, and you can hear a few minutes of it on the Facebook Mix, before Do It Again.

Tom Rowlands remixed two other I Break Horses tracks, but only Hearts was released. The only people I know who have heard them are Simon Raymonde and Tom.

There's also a Nine Acre Dust (Chemical Brothers Remix) floating around out there. It's identical to Nine Acre Dust except the remix is 30 seconds shorter - most/all in the intro. I don't know where it came from, but it sounds mostly legitimate.

Thanks for that. I got the Digital Decks album where it's on the tracklist. Added to the remixography.

Í know versions without the intro and almost directly starts with the Lalalalala.
Nine acre dust (Chemical Brothers remix) sounds unoffical to me as Nine Arce Dust is essentially Nine Acre Court (Dust Brothers remix)

I remember there was talk of him having remixed three tracks. Are we sure that actually happened? Have you checked this with your celebrity twitter follower? (I sound like a stalker now. Oops.)

For the St. Etienne remix, is the Chekhov Warp Dub the same as the one called Chemical Brothers Remix?

Quote from: Joslyn on Aug 30, 2015, 19:02

St. Etienne - Like a Motorway has 2 remixes, Chekhov Warp Mix and Chekhov Warp Dub. The Dub mix is more common and IMO better than the mix which includes St. Etiennes vocals.
...
Be renaming the mixes on the compilation it's understandingly confusing which remix is which. But I think the vocal mix hasn't surfaced on any compilation and can only be found on the 12" promo.

Quote from: androidgeoff on Aug 30, 2015, 19:32

I have to find the vocal version! What release has it? Discogs is only showing releases with the Dub version.

http://www.discogs.com/Saint-Etienne-Like-A-Motorway/release/87797
http://www.discogs.com/Various-Secret-Tracks-2/release/239798

I got the 12" and I think it's the only way to get it but I found a cassete as well. I think any compilation on cd you will buy is the Chekhov Warp Dub.

Well Saint Etienne haven't been shy of releasing a compilation or two over the years:
Too Young To Die (2CD) featured a bunch of remixes on disc 2, many of which then popped up on Casino Cassics which itself had several releases (2CD, 3LP and in 2012, 4CD!!).
Now they've produced a new limited spin-off remix CD called Mondo Casino which isn't listed on Discogs at the moment. And yes, it features the vocal version of the Chems mix of Like A Motorway. Good luck getting hold of the CD though, 'cause it's limited.
From St Etienne's Facebook (23rd August):
Quote
As our US 'Good Humor' tour approaches we can finally bring you news of our aforementioned "exclusive merchandise items".... Secondly, we have Mondo Casino, a decades-spanning double CD companion to Casino Classics that contains rare and in-demand mixes, many on CD for the first time. Twenty of them! From Masters At Work (Only Love Can Break Your Heart) to the Chemical Brothers (Like A Motorway - Vocal Mix) to Air France (Spring) to Tiesto (Action - Instrumental Mix) to Confidence Man (Magpie Eyes) ... limited to 1400 copies, and we'll limit the number sold each night to 150 of each title on a first come first served basis. For fans outside North America, we'll be selling any remaining copies (and there will be some) via our webshop when we get back to England. Neither will be re-pressed, so get 'em while they're hot!
The tour was in September. I don't see anything on their Webshop...
But maybe one or two of you completists might want to hunt this thing down anyway.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

**EDIT2** (yes in this order). They've just posted a new FB post now. They play two sold out gigs at The British Library (!) this weekend (I've been there. It really is a massive library). And will be selling the CD's there. So I guess if there's any left after that...

**EDIT1** Or just listen to it on youtube:

Hi gavin. There's a quite comprehensive list of remixes done by the Chems in the topic below:

Gavin - In addition to Csar's internal link, you may find discogs.com to be a more comprehensive resource than wikipedia for detailed release info from any artist.

Although, some wiki pages are pretty good...
Uh... everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?

Ariel - T-Baby (the Dust Brothers remix) 1992

Before The Chemical Brothers were The Chemical Brothers, Tom Rowlands was the drummer in a band called Ariel. This is one of the many tracks that they released.
Though claimed to be the first ever released recording done by the duo Ed and Tom, under their early DJing alias 237 Turbo Nutters, this mix is actually done by Justin Robertson of Lionrock fame. Their first mix is The Dust Brothers remix of another Ariel track, T-Baby, in 1992.
@koopstakov

237 was the number of Tom and Ed's house that they lived in at college in Manchester.

Słucham THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS od 1995 roku .

* this chemical is good, this chemical is bad *

Is this the Chekov Warp Mix or the Chekov Warp Dub? I only have the Dub as mp3, this one here sounds exactly the same except that it is labeled by Saint Etienne as Vocal Mix. I'm confused. Have Saint Etienne just labeled it wrong?

This one here has the vocals, but was not uploaded by Saint Etienne themselve (and has shitty quality)

unfuck the world please
