I hate to say this, but this performance was a little so-so. Ellie tries a little too hard here, imo. I usually love it when songs are interpreted differently live. But here, those elongated vocal parts just don't cut it.
I know it was probably meant to spice things up for the awards show but I like more like this:

Wolf Alice is the best band alive.

Anna Calvi, Nilüfer Yanya, Dove Ellis & Ellie Rowsell - Sunday Light

It's 237!  That's also the best number because it would make you the Turbo Nutter of the deluxe owners

Beautiful song by all involved! Thanks for sharing.

First video is not Midnight Song, unfortunately. But I love those Irish sounds, esp. the fiddle. It gives me a feeling of nostalgia, hope, happiness and melancholia all at the same time.

Anna Lapwood is playing the organ. She's great.

Elli's performances are recently a bit shaky, idk.  But she's laughing and that's awesome!

Weird that they playing support for an artist whose debut album and single were released at the same time as Blue Weekend. Nothing against Olivia, somehow i like her attitude (getting Robert Smith, Robert Smith or David Byrne on stage instead of musicians you would think her main audience know) + her cover of The Book Of Love from the Help2 compilation is not only the best version of the song i know (ok, before that i only knew Peter Gabriel's version) but also my most played song from that compilation (sorry Beth Gibbons & Depeche Mode)

There have been so many (official) cameras recording the show, wonder if there ever will be a full release of the show

So I listened to the Tape Notes (podcast TOMORA was on recently) episode with Joel, Theo and Justin Meldal-Johson talking about Visions Of A Life.

Super fucking cool hearing them all chat about the album, writing the songs, recording, learning how to play better, how to capture different drum sounds for different sections of the same song.
Really interesting listen.

I also just finished listening to Floating Points talking about making Crush.
The show is really quite special. Just letting musicians and producers totally go off on a subject they're so passionate about. I love it!

Gospel Oak

Youtube using a thumbnail that says "The Clearing B-Sides". New edition of that record on the way? Or a compilation of yet unreleased stuff from the writing sessions?

Also, Song's way too short. Would have loved having the version from the Royal Albert Hall performance with that folk musicians and Elli playing the flute.

"These are a few songs we made during The Clearing that didn't make it on the final record, but are ones we love very much, including a cover with two of our fave singers Julia Cumming and Bria Salmena - we're happy to have found a home for them for you to hear. Enjoy"

A1 - Gospel Oak
A2 - Hit The Sky
B1 - Hammond Song

Is there a way to listen to it without these apps?

Both great shows. I really love the new Thorns rework-intro, so dreamy. Wish they had segued to the actual song, though, instead of Bloom Baby Bloom. I can practically hear the pen planning ... a new version :)

CANNOT LISTEN, NO VPN!!! Fortunately, I downloaded the Primavera show last year after it aired.

"The Clearing B-Sides".
Looking forward to listen to the other two. Gospel Oak is alright but I can see why it didn't make the album cut.
