I have a theory in which the album Further plays the role of a "Therapist." It's long been known how the music of the Brothers Angels connects with psychedelics... What are your own experiences or discoveries with this album?
Let me share one of my many experiences:
The woman in the track "Snow" — I saw in her the fullness of light and color, and a radiance coming from the soul.
In "K+D+B," the birds turn into soap bubbles drifting in the wind.
In "Wonders of the Deep," you can feel the mystery — the kind that reveals itself only after the entire experience.
These are just a few examples. Listening to this album on good equipment feels like agreeing to enter a great Ritual — but I also believe this music has a healing quality. Combined with psychedelics, it's like acupuncture for the body.
And what I've described is maybe 10% of my work with this album. :)
So I'll ask the question:
If "they" knew it would work this way — how did they do it? :)
From that moment on, I began to call them the Angels Brothers, because when I watch their live performances, I see their positive aura!
These people do good deeds through music. :)
I invite you to join the conversation.

It's 237!  That's also the best number because it would make you the Turbo Nutter of the deluxe owners

I get where you're coming from, there always has been a spiritual undertone to the Chemical Brothers (at least for me) Even in their more dance and party tracks (i.e. Galvanize, Hey Boy Hey Girl, and more) there is still that lovely, for lack of a better term, psychedelic reel they have going on. There is a very soulful and peaceful rendition of Wide Open from their Glastonbury show in 2019 that features Don't Thinks vocals

I posted this in the discord the other day listening back to it.
"listening back to their glastonbury performance in 19 and god the don't think vocals in wide open catch me off guard but the mesh so well

like it's not like in the og track or with acid children where it's a command and forced

it's a suggestion for your to open up

like "don't think just let it flow" is everything in you come out now that you are vulnerable"

Take this brother...
