So good. I've been on an '80s pop/funk kick for a long time thanks to listening to a few to many Dimitri From Paris mixes.

That would have blown my mind. If I had a mind.
"We going up!" and then pogo for the stars
"why yes, yes you are crazy and I love you for it!" Whirly

In which case, I highly recommend this...

THE BEST reverse-cymbal-clap of all time.

I am an enormous R.E.M. fan and Life's Rich Pageant seems like the perfect album for today.  The first three songs pretty much sum up my thoughts on Nov. 8, 2016.

Nice - 4 and 5 are the best though.

I don't know... That cheesy open and middle part is just a little too... cheesy, for me at least.

I just want to say, everyone is putting freaking awesome music on here lately. Thank you.

Inspired by the Donovan selection by Pumisher, it popped in my mind that Kevin Barnes of 'Of Montreal' reminds me a lot of Donovan (his voice).

here is a new one from them (not a good one to compare Donovan's voice):

also just delving into  Jean-Jacques Perrey, apparently he was the writer or is it (co-writer?) of the Disney's electric light parade:

and then there is this lush creation by Shinichi Osawa:

In which case I recommend this (with a Fatboy Slim connection as his Beats International project covered it)

You're mixing up Jean Jacques Perrey and Pierre Henry, another french electronic music pioneer

Actually I'm thinking of taking back that "oops"

Donovan - Hurdy Gurdy Man

I've been in love with this one ever since I heard it in the Zodiac movie (a flick/topic I was kinda obsessed with for a while) for the first time. This and the Three Dogs Night's 'Easy to Be Hard' gives me the chills every time I listen to it or it starts playing in the movie.

Ahh, that's him! I remember this from a Chems mix (I'm such an ignorant). Loving this song. How sad he passed away.
What's great about YT is that you sometimes get really good recommendations based on your previous videos. After E.V.A. this came up:
