My understanding of SNL performances is that they are almost 100% of the time underwhelming, often with fans questioning how a band they love could possibly sound so bad.

A colleague of mine is a huge Taylor Swift fan (during the Eras-Tour she went to one of the London shows, saw them two times in Gelsenkirchen, was one of the 50.000 people on the hill at her Munich show and had tickets for the canceled show in Vienna) and i know that she adores Taylors SNL 'Monologue' performance:

And i'm in total awe with the Blues Brothers playing Soul Man on SNL, but you can't never go wrong with them (thats why the first BB Movie is in my all time top10 movies list) playing/singing/dancing/beeing themselves. And while i love and total respect John Godmann as a wonderfull actor, he couldn't replace John Belushi in the second movie. And yes, i know that the Blues Brothers only came about because of Saturday Night Live.

Wide Open is brilliant

Wide Open is one of my favourite Chems tracks with in my opinion the best music video they've ever released (yes, even better than the brilliant Star Guitar video)

What is turkish coffee? Is it special roasted to be more turkish/mokka like? Or does the plant actually grow in Turkey - which I doubt, but perhaps climate change has a hand in it?

Turkish Coffee is more of a preparation than anything. It's brewed really strong and usually with sugar added to the coffee grounds. Often very dark roasts and no filters, so you get a super rich, very strong, and due to boiling to the point of foaming, an often velvety texture.

It's like espresso with a little less precision and rigamarole, and some eastern flare and fun!

A bit shocked someone is bringing up the Blues Brothers and it not being me...

John Belushi can't be replaced, but his brother (Jim) certainly has attempted to keep his legacy alive. That being said the Belushi brothers have a bit of a notorious past in Chicago-land. Dan Aykroyd is the only beloved member, and he's originally from Canada.

I've never had Turkish coffee, it was given to me as a gift. I brought it to attention because there is a line in a new Gorillaz track "Damascus" which touts Turkish coffee over Starbucks.

So with that being said, if anyone has experience with serving Turkish coffee, I'd appreciate any tips to maximize my experience.
