Pun intended
IT'S MORNING TIME!

Is it still a kitten killer if there's a 4.5 month gap?
Paul "Special Request" Woolford has remixed Chime.

BTW if you bother to watch the embeded documentary in this link, see if you recognise anything around 14.04 (and some other bits too perhaps).

No Chime/Crime? That's criminal.

Edit: oh it's there, it's just not on the tracklist

Halcyon be like: We'll make heaven the place on earth
Meanwhile the Satan: SAAAAAAAAAAAAATAAAAAAAAAAN

I love that fact xD

Pay attention to the whiteboard on the wall - there's notes on their live set and for their next album Orbital 30, which they've been talking about recently. It's planned to be a 30th anniversary compilation of new "live style" versions of all their classic tracks, and remixes from their contemporaries...

...listed on that board are Underworld, Aphex Twin, Leftfield, The Chemical Brothers, Utah Saints, The Prodigy, and (more of a newcomer) Bicep. Edit: and David Holmes and Vince Clarke
Ah Orbital 30. Anyone remember this? Looks like it's kinda happening now.

The David Holmes remix of Belfast appeared in a Justin Robertson radio show in April 2020. You can fnd that show Here. The final 8 minutes of the show (1:52 onwards) feature the track, although it remains unreleased. However we have a couple of new Belfast remixes now, just released:

well Orbital now have two US dates announced, one month apart on opposite coasts.

sept 24/25 CRSSD in San Diego
oct 22 III Points in Miami

close enough to generate hope for more dates in between. yet far enough apart that they might feasibly go home and come back again.

sigh.

I reallu hope for the new, 30 something mix of Halcyon to include those live version samples of "Heaven is the Place on Earth" and "You give love a bad name"

I'm a fan of Smiley and Acid Horse.

The reworks of the 30 something tracks are also quite fantastic.

Yes, THIS.
IT'S MORNING TIME!

Big UK Orbital show announced at Warehouse Project with a lot of acid pioneers like 808 State, Happy Mondays etc
Live: Latitude 2021, Field Day 2022, Kalorama 2022, o2 Arena 2023
DJ: Fabric 2021, Printworks 2021, Printworks 2022, Glastonbury 2023

Ok, the compilation was realeased nearly a whole week ago and omg, as much as I wish there was a lot more of those self-reworks, the ones we've got are pretty solid, with Impact being absolutely the best version to date, period.
Two new trax in form of Smiley and Acid Horse could easily go onto the next Orbital album and the remixes are pretty solid too, just wish there was something else, than like 5 different mixes of Belfast.
But the compilation itself is dope, just dope.

My cousin used to be in the Mediaeval Baebes! One of the founding members.
That could have been a very cool little connection.
