Title: Why are the lyrics "Hey Girl, Hey Boy" while the title is "Hey Boy, Hey Girl" ?

Good question.

I've often wondered.

I really like that it's the other way round. Though I can't articulate why.

It is a gender bender song. Boys b girls and girls b boys. The only people left unchanged are the Super Star Dee Jays.

It's some sort of dystopia.
