It's weird. When we put out our first 12" a while ago a bunch of people started contacting us and it was a real surprise as we were just a small outfit in Los Angeles at the time, but Tom from the Chemical Brothers e-mailed me and I was like that's not really my scene but I've always paid attention to a lot of electronic stuff. I've always dug the cats doing that and Chemical Brothers I always thought were really fresh. So for me I love making songs with other people, we've started working on something but my schedule has been so crazy we haven't finished it yet. But hopefully that will be ready soon

have you tried waybackmachie? You can find stuff from interviews and dead links from the early 1990s, so its possible that the link works there. but beware as some sites arent archived so dont be surprised if it doesn't work.

Good suggestion, but I don't think there is any saving of the links in the archive. It seems that all links that were posted in long form, have been compressed by a program from the forum software and left incomplete. I'm guessing it was done to make it mobile friendly.
I wonder if Jack Splash was a early candidate for doing vocals on "Do It Again". That, or probably just a piece of music that never was realized.
There also was the MGMT rumor later on, but that was better documented...
