Remind me what tracks were uniquely featured during the 2011 tour. I'm looking at some of the setlists and they are all over the place.
I was at the Coachella show where we got denied Superflash, but we did get Three Little Dirty Down Beats, and a complete version of Don't Think.
I'm looking at some of the Mexican dates a few days prior to Coachella, and at the time I vaguely remember reading they were playing EBW6/Hoops, did that really happen?
An Australia date via setlist fm saying EBW4, really?
Three little dirty down beats was before HBHG, Don't think was full song with ladder visuals
https://youtu.be/QsWLRI7LxZY
Yep, they played Hoops/EBW6
Also, Snow/Surface, Dissolve/Reel/Devil, Cherub Choir (if you will) after Superflash. And as it was technically a 2010/11 tour they also played Horse Power and Another World.
Despite what setlist.fm might say, every set was:
Intro - Tomorrow Never Knows (Junior Parker)
Another World
Do It Again / Get Yourself High Vox
Horse Power
Chemical Beats
Swoon
Star Guitar
Three Little Birdies Down Beats
Hey Boy Hey Girl
Don't Think
Galactic Phase Shift Interlude
Out Of Control / Setting Sun
Saturate
Believe
Chemical Rising
Escape Velocity / The Golden Path Vox
Superflash
Acid Clown Cherub Choir
Leave Home / Galvanize Vox
Block Rockin Beats
For the first half of the year, they used Galvanize as the intro instead, cut Another World, did not do the Leave Home / Galvanize mashup, and used James Tenney's For Ann - Rising instead of their own synths for the Escape Velocity intro.
And for the few shows that had encores, it was always:
Snow / Surface To Air
Hoops
Dissolve Interlude
The Private Psychedelic Reel (with Sympathy For The Devil)
Coachella was the only show that was different (cause of Kings of Leon), and it was the first set (w/ Galvanize intro), minus everything after Believe.
I could DEFINITELY be proven wrong here, but I don't know of any concert that had any surprises or changes from the normal setlist, beyond the standard synth improvisations.
What I recall is Galvanize was initially the opener after the pre-release shows for Further up until around Coachella, then for the remainder of the tour (including Fuji) threw in Another World.
But didn't Come With Us have a short revival as the opener somewhere? Wasn't it mixed with Music:Respone or something?
My memory is fuzzy.
Thanks for the responses, guys.
I think they reintroduced (read: I've been on this forum for 16 year and my memory is deteriorating) CWU before further for a short bit (late WATN? late PTB?) and has the visuals of the dot face before Further came out. They were white and I recall synced to the lyrics of the song. Let me go run to YouTube....
Edit: my memory is 8/10. They did that, but as an encore in late WATN shows: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_056ZWNECQM
Either way, I'd argue that chem shows get exponentially better after every break of their tour, especially starting with WATN. That was a long tour and they started doing stuff like ^ that, as well as Nude Night, the crazy Big Jump break in the middle of Do It Again, the heavy acid line on Golden Path, the introduction of the acid line on Galvanize (which I'd argue made it better than the album), etc. Also late PTB is when they introduced Wonders of the Deep and Animal Song. Then later BITE I think brought the epic version of Hoops, TPPR w/sympathy for the devil, and a few others. ::::Magic happens after the 25th show:::::
Edit (2): The Pills Wont Help You Now was another late WATN add on 🤯

Yup - They even played It Began In Africa once in 2007 before Out of Control at Eindhoven:

And at the same 2008 show where they surprise opened with Come With Us they had this crazy version of Out of Control with pitched cowbells and the Chemicals Good / Bad sample:

2005, late 07 and 08 were loaded with weird stuff like this. It's so cool that the trends returning.

Thank you! That's totally what I tried to say in another post, but wasn't quite able to pin down. It's what I noticed, too, over all these years with each bootleg I listened to or show I attented myself. That's why I usually love those later shows a bit better because they usually explore bolder, more experimental routs that make them even more exciting. I could listen to set after set of each tour and wouldn't get bored at all because there's so much to discover in each show.
Boy was I psyched when they dropped Morning Lemon for the first time in Berlin at the Velodrome Arena in late Sep. 2005 or when they made this awesome breakbeat intro for BRB in 2005 in their London gig that I had never heard before. Or that other time in Berlin Spandau, when they played EBW 10 for the first time in 2008, which was also that gig where I heard the Pills for the first time as well (of which I managed to capture a few seconds for which I could keep punching myself to this day). Seasoned Chems are the best!

Ha, just noticed going through my images: I can't really remember if they played that track or if it was just a brief segue but I took some pics of that dot-face at the afore mentioned Berlin Spandau show in 2008 which was a postponed show from 2007.
Edit: Nope, it was, like you said, just the vocal sample mixed with Leave Home as the encore's opener.

In 2005 there was a rare break between Galvanize and B.R.B., which I think sampled beastie Boys.

Honestly, I thought it was at least 16 years ago when they last played CWU live. Can't believe I didn't know they played it more recently. Been dying to hear that song live since the first time I heard it. Man, I hope they bring it back at some point for their tour.

maybe if we find tracks (or enough snippets to combine into complete tracks) I could probably assemble a super set of some sorts (like I did with the best of albums) that include the rare tracks.

Brixton Academy, I'm almost certain, but I have no idea which performance in 2005 it was. I've read there was an online stream of the show (lost to time, or it's the one I have labeled London 05 show and the quality was just questionable) but this stream cut to silence when Close Your Eyes was performed, to much confusion, until this EP came out.
Gathered this info from one old archived thread here that I don't know how to get back to rn.

That footage is from the final weekend of the BITE tour - at London's Hammersmith Apollo. I was there.
It's not technically a disco ball. But I don't actually know what it's called! Like a large metal plate/bowl that the light reflects off. But it's not actually a ball and it doesn't have little mirror pieces on it.
It might be a parabolic reflector.

Found this rehearsal image from the production company who aided in the lighting rig for the 2018 tour, the visuals of S2A with the robots are a strange strange combo

obviously the robots need to be doing the splits and spinning in the air for it to work

Found another behind the scenes photo! This time a rendering of what the 2015-2016 shows would look like, the rendering was done by Marcus himself!

Poring over some live footage from earlier-in-the-2010s tours (slowly receding into history, before our very eyes!) and wound my way back towards this gem:
https://youtu.be/eMn32W9rpDE
The only time they played "The Sunshine Underground" on the Further tour - and so the last outing for its lengthy encore rendition, complete with jet-of-bubbles intro (though, of course, there was plenty of fresh underwater footage coming in to replace it) and, for the only time ever, the "Hoops"/"Pills" helixes frenetically spliced in for the drop. A strong sense that they know they'll be coming up with a new encore soon, so they're making every second of this song count before they have to bid farewell to it again (for another five years, as it turned out). A really nice collision of eras, and a great performance as well.

Don't wanna be that guy but they also played this in denver and Las Vegas (though the las vegas footage is long gone)

although fox theater (I could be wrong) is the only location to play Under the Influence in its full with Horse Power's Bassline instead of the 2007/2010 bassline
I don't recall them ever having a date in Vegas for the Further tour in North America.
CoS published dates in Vancouver and Seattle back in 2010, but I'm almost certain they never happened. Additionally, the Vancouver date couldn't have happened, because it was the same day as Denver.

If there was a Vegas show, I would've been there. I think it was Seattle.
Also, the chems are on a 1.5 month break from touring. Historically speaking, I think this is usually the point we get new stuff in the set. Seems like they usually do a pre-release tour, release tour, then after some time off a final round when we usually get the new stuff added to the set list. I could be wrong; it's happened before.

Normally the encore gets the most changes for this last quarter change, in 2016 Hold Tight London/Wide Open was added, and for late 2018 the addition of Got Glint was made into the encore
Here's hoping The Universe Sent Me finally gets added!!!!

Yeah, this should be mandatory, right?! My gutfeeling tells me though this isn't going to happen. But I'll be counting on hope instead. Wished they would mix in some Bango beats/ parts somewhere in the seat, too, perhaps during the first quarter of the set. It's so hip-wiggling inducing and would go along well with some older breaky stuff.
I expect one song will hit the bucket (none from NG) and be replaced with another (also not from NG).

turns out it was in Krakow,(although I swear I saw a clip from vegas with the song in its entirety with Horse power's bassline)! even though it was most likely a mistake and was corrected, definetly prefered that Bassline over the 2007-'10 bassline anyday.
better audio @ 8:16

may as well save it while we can
My eardrums would have melted out of sheer awesomeness.
Also, there is the ending that is missing from both the standard and extended version of this song.
I don't know if this was posted elsewhere, but their show in South Korea was pretty awesome. It had more improvised elements than any other show I've heard thus far (e.g. subtly you can hear the siren at near the end of HBHG, No Geography gets added percussive elements, lots of batshit-crazy delay effects, etc). The quality is pretty decent, although the compression makes the volume dive during heavier bass, but it's still a great listen and that can probably be cleaned up with some editing and a reverse compressor (I think that's what they're called when they lift quieter elements rather than lower loud elements).

Oh yeah that end of HBHG is wild, really fun!
This popped up on my youtube feed and I realized I've never seen it.
I like the slightly tweaked/distorted synths at Do It Again (especially from 2:19).
Remember when they had some power problems a couple of years ago (I believe during EML Ritual)?
And they started over with Do It Again synth line. Where was it? I need that video.

Cool new light show for Got Glint with additional Catch Me I'm Falling:
Better full video getting immersed in it from Milan:

Yes, I remember that, it was a very cool improvisation/unique intro to DIA, I've searched for the video myself some time ago. It was at a festival in France, in 2015?

Bango has entered with new visuals transitioning into EML Ritual:
(curious to know what the distorted male voice is saying afterwards sounds familiar like from a classic electronic track or something maybe)

I think it's "time" something
EDIT: I just checked against that unidentified track on the Nuits Sonores DJ Set that goes "time, control" (at 54:00) but that doesn't sound the same at all :|

I hear "Tell me know... Tell me" or "Terminate"
Pretty confident the spoken-word voice is saying "thunder" (as in "give me my...")
Sounds like terminate to me, but logically thunder makes more sense.
Can we also just appreciate that a video of a lawn mower is getting cheers at these shows! It's genuinely fucking weirdly terrifying
I hear "Tell me"
New Panels!!!! either this is an O2 exclusive or the 2020 tour may have new visual pallet:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3J9E1ltODGU
Elektrobank really utilizes these
You mean the extension of the screen? I think that they were used because of the large stage.
It was only a O2 exclusive. But they used a 3 portret screen setup on some festivals like Glasto or All points east because the festival had these special ones.
It was posted earlier, with the drunk Tim Burgess, Tim played on stage with them at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall in 2004.
I may be completely imagining this but did the Magic Numbers also sing live with them at the Brixton Acadamy in the late 2000's or just support?

technically they did between Got Glint & Wide open, last year. although it was very similar to wide open on the album.

I hear "Tell me"
FOUND IT: The sample is featured in Heaven by Ariel (Tom's old band).
He says "So tell me, How do you feel?" sounds like the same pitch but distorted (probably either through filter or the bass from the speakers) it plays at 2:09 and then on
Can't remember if I posted this video before but here's a goodie I rediscovered, a Hoops/Golden Path transition from 2008

Looks like in some concerts (late 15/early 16) the brothers had a disco ball with them.

Cannot thank you enough man, for this one!!!.. They've used it in Vilnius concert too (summer of 2015),during Block'Rockin'Beats - that was amazing.. I would describe it as diamond shaped kind of reflector (cause in Vilnius, Lithuania it was clearly Diamond shaped, you can look in a videos on youtube..) - I think it looked really cool. Something new and special. I thought they were testing it in Vilnius, as an installation..
Hey everyone, happy new year!
Just found this:

Was TSU the last track on some 2002 sets? Or did i just find some weird edited out set?
Edit: Upon further looking, it seems like the guy that owns the channel has some chemical brothers sets, and a lot of Underworld ones. Seems like sort of an Underworld Live Archive
Looking at you Conn6r;)

Yeah no this was edited, the reel was omitted but for some reason TSU was placed at the end
Maybe, anybody has any video (*or on youtube) where chems are using this green cone-shaped laser above them. These were some special moments visualy.. Not the 'Further' tour (cause it was cylinder-like). I noticed that they started to use this cone-shaped from 'Born in the Echoes' tour from 2015 onwards.. It's really difficult to find one on youtube.. I sawit myself in Vilnius, and aahhhh..What amoment that was.. I didn't have any phone, or camera with me.. Probably best moment of a whole chemical experience. And it was amazing both musically and visually, majestic moment.. That spinning green laser-cone.. Itwas like an interlude, or transition between different tracks.. And I didn't even remember which tracks that were.. Not 'Hey Boy Hey Girl' (cause they've used that during concert in Portugal).. That was special..
Maybe what you're looking for is the outro ("it's the lifestyle we're living") of Believe and pause into Snow/Surface that can be seen on the Roundhouse 2015 gig (iTunes Festival)?

Can't find that gig on Youtube, at least not in full lenght. Have it on my PC and i can take a look around where to upload it and then send you the link via DM
I think in 2015 they used this visual after the little break that's usually around 2/3rd-ish into the main show.
In 2015 the song at that part of the setlist was The Sunshine Underground, exept for the Roundhouse show which Pumisher posted above, here Snow/Surface To Air was played.
Here's a video with TSU from 2015, although it doesn't show the whole cone as it's really close to the stage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EB8p0mFeoU&t=71s
AFAIK they've always used the laser directly above them since 2015 during some parts of the show.
Thanks guys for trying.. Yeah, it's also amazing on here, but no.. The moment I saw was much longer and green and more dense green only green laser.. It starts also slowly, but sppinning speed increases very much.. Yeah, it was somewhere around in a middle of a show..
Are you sure it wasn't HBHG?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v--76IRNA48
It's recorded at a show in Vlinius in 2015.

I think it might've been this no? This was during the Acid Children interlude, granted it's more white than green, it does come after Chemical Beats which uses green lasers

Thanks guys.. I'm not shure anymore.. I get so mesmerized by these shows maybe I am wrong, I don't know anymore, you know.. Hard to remember exactly. Maybe HBHG,but I still doubt.. Anyway, thanks guys for your effort!..
