what is this pulse wave style sound used here https://youtu.be/xHEgT--jJLk?t=43s from wonders of the deep. is it from a sample pack. do the chemical brothers use any sample packs and from where do they get there plugins/sound samples?

Don't be distracted by the gear behind Tom though, that's just the controllers for the air conditioning. You can clearly see him using the iMac to download samples from the internet.

so there are no samples except from syths and sampling other vinyls
