To start off, I'm very much a hypocrite. I laughed at the idea of USB stick edition, but I have it officially pre-ordered with the FTBF cassette. Upon hearing "Skipping Like a Stone" (extended mix), I had to go against my words, especially with a looming "extra chapter" to Paused in Cosmic Reflection.
Everything. Of course! It's an expensive year to be a collector/fan what with the multiple book versions, new album, tour.
Waiting for:
CD (polish premiere was posponed by a whole week which I don't understand 💀)
Two casettes (just in case as I don't feel them to be repressed)
And USB stick! (I don't have anything released on this novelity format yet!)
I hope they'll drop some fancy bonus stuff like a poster too!
Please show some detailed photos of all the goodies when you receive them. I'm planning on getting an LP version somewhere down the line and curious what each version looks like!
Pre-ordered the hoodie with white vinyl bundle, the USB 'collector's edition' and just recently, the CD with the numbered print. I was originally going to buy both the CD and LP in Cardiff on Friday since I'll be there for the Saturday show, but once I cosied up to the artwork and saw a print, I grabbed it when I could.

Promotional goodies. A free poster and tote bag. It really would have helped if they had the posters rolled up inside some cellophane or an elastic band. Watching people grab a poster and then try to roll it up (and keep it rolled up) in the middle of the shop was sheer daftness. Mine inevitably got creased on the tube journey home...

Book chapter aside, I'll be interested to hear from you re: the value of owning the USB. The tracks can all be downloaded from the WWW including Skipping (Extended) - albiet for a bonus fee.
Let us know what format the files are in, do you get a sense of ownership from this piece of product, or anything else that I haven't thought of.

They did a filmed unboxing after the listening party. The camerawoman grabbed two people and asked if they wanted to unwrap the record and show it off - watched from afar but the poster is absolutely massive, the guy trying to unfold it was struggling and one of the Rough Trade staff took it from them to ease the pain ::)
Has anyone's bundle been fulfilled or shipped? Had an email that my USB was shipped and ready to be delivered tomorrow, but nowt from the white vinyl / hoodie bundle. Nowt from the numbered print / CD bundle either.

Apparently some peeps from Reddit are getting emails about their chem store orders. The CD's hit a production snag and will be delayed. Hopefully they get it out soon because waiting sucks.

Then today I went to pick it up ( about a 15 minute drive) at my local store where I have preordered the last 3 chem releases. When I got there, they told me due to the labor day weekend ( last week) their shipments were delayed, so they haven't received FTBF yet! Now I'm pissed!
So I call at least 3 record stores nearby to see if they had it. Nope, no vinyl or CD....Seriously! So I call up Amoeba ( I really didn't want to drive up there, but I wanted to get this situation out of the way) and strangely enough out of all the record stores in my area, they had plenty of vinyl copies, including the 3Lp, but no CD's either! Edit: I checked for the CD on Amazon but it's out of stock! Damn!

Same situation just south of you! Hard to find at a store right now and I would rather support a local place. So glad you got your copy in your hands! And I like seeing the album displayed- love Amoeba records. :) The hubs called all around local shops today and no dice. Told to call one store back tomorrow to check availability so we will see!

Same here in Portland, OR.
Took the day off specifically to pick it up (along with the new Róisín Murphy and Carly Rae Jepsen albums) and give it a dedicated listen at home. Pre-ordered it a few weeks back, and got an email on my way to the store saying that a couple of new releases hadn't made it in yet (Jepsen was also in that pile).
Completely sympathize with the disappointment. I had big hopes of blasting it while thumbing through the booklet - staring at the cover. But ultimately ended up having to ILLEGALLY DOWNLOAD IT to avoid having any stupid ads, audio quality issues, or other problems. Not quite what I was hoping, but I am now even more pumped to pick it up and BLAST it in the car.

Same thing with Poland tbh, the general physical release was delayed till 15th, so yeah, it seems there's some issue with that :/
I ended up battling traffic and trekking to Los Angeles on my quest For That Beautiful Feeling :D Slim pickins at Amoeba - no CD's so I'll have to pick that up another time. I got the 3LP and it's niiiiice, it feels weighty and it's bold and beautiful!
Now I just need a better turntable, LOL

Got my 3LP bundle and white vinyl delivered today in Perth, Australia. Gave the 2LP a spin this afternoon. Very nice.

I'm really disappointed with the shipping for my items. I have 2 shipments. The first one left on Sep 9 but has been been MIA since Sep 12 and I'm imagining my 3 LP to have split seams all over the place from bouncing around in transit for 2+ weeks. The second package supposedly shipped on Sep 7 but the tracking info indicates the package was never even shipped or even a label created. Fuck this.

In the same boat, though I don't have delicate cargo like the 3LP, I'm just awaiting on the USB and Cassette.
I'm in United States, fwiw. Also, this is first time in long time I ordered something from Chems official website and don't buy stuff internationally to often, so I'm not typically sure how long I should be patient...

I was also surprised by this! The new CRJ album was also a jewel case (actually, so was her last one).
The inside/booklet is kind of a let down. Just plain black behind the tray and the booklet is a single fold with the tracklist and credits over the inside pages. I was hoping for some of the single artwork on some of the pages but, at this point, I'm just relieved to finally have it in hand. I've been holding off listening to the album but will be BLASTING IT out of the car tomorrow on my way to the clay supply store!
Also, as a result of a very boring and convoluted story involving my pre-order, me cancelling it, and then buying the "on sale" copy on the shop floor - I ended up spending 3 cents more than I needed to. You're welcome, local small business!
I'm officially on the board. Came home from a 10k run to find a customs marked package in the mailbox.
Still no updated tracking info from order even though I have it in-hand. I did see that there was a crossed-out scanner symbol on the shipping label. That could be why I wasn't updated about its status. I chose the cheapest shipping option so that might have been a factor I overlooked. Anyway, hope the rest that are waiting on their order get it soon.

I don't know my strength most of the time and was trying to push the actual stick out, pushed too hard and it snapped off. The actual USB stick still reads fine, but I absolutely cannot put it back in it's original spot and the little packaging bulges out if I leave it half in, which is really annoying. Think that's just karma talking, fuck around and find out type of thing :(

After 45 days (of which 14 were customs only), my order just arrived! I finally have the white LP (which sounds spectacular!), CD and the USB card... It took a long time, but when Dont Think came out, I remember that I had ordered the special edition of the book with the CD+DVD and it took about 7 months to arrive.
