Title: Don't Think digital download
Post by: gpro2005 on Dec 13, 2020, 20:16
I was recently doing some Wayback Machine snooping around the website for Don't Think. After clicking a few links, I ended up here at the EMI music store (archive from June 22, 2012). (https://web.archive.org/web/20120622082241/http://shop.emimusic.com/chemicalbrothers/*/*/Don-t-Think/11B080000000?utm_source=chemicalbrothers&utm_medium=banner&utm_campaign=banner-digital-download#accept)

It would seem that at some point, you could purchase a digital file containing a widescreen 5.1 surround version of Don't Think. However, at some point, this was removed. Trying to access the EMI store now leads to nothing and there's no trace of this ever being available anywhere online.

It's a shame, since now the only way to see it is to buy the DVD or Blu-ray (or the 240p Vimeo rip (yes, it looks EXACTLY as bad as you think it does)).

Hmm, no word if the download is was HD or not, but 7 Sterling seems to be a good deal (even back in 2012).

It really is a great value. Most Blu-ray copies I could find go for twice that amount.
It's possible that they haven't sold it again due to rights issues or seeming lack of copy protection, but I have no evidence to back those claims up.
