So the Brothers, or at least their official Instagram-account, is now following the official Glasto-account. That might could be a hint they are playing there next year.
After them starting to follow Aurora I also said they worked together - turns out I was right... And for the past tour they very often startet to follow the accounts of locations they were booked to.
Fingers crossed for Pyramid Stage Saturday headline slot. Sadly Glasto was sold out in 36min.
Saturday night headlining the 2nd stage I reckon. Hopefully BBC4 will broadcast it live again. I've got my leave booked on the same dates for next years Fuji Rocks Festival. I can dream I suppose.

Why is Cyrus there at all? Glastonbury flirts with the mainstream a little bit too much these days.
I see Aurora is below the Chems on the bill though.

So who's going?
For us in the states, any guess on how long the stream for this show might be if available?

So who's going?
One of my mates who I ran into at a club revival night is going. He claimed to be doing a mad tab/shift dash across 5 screens to get tix when sales went live. He said he was torn about Chems and Killers playing at the same time....(I secretly judged him about thinking the killers was a "Conflict").

Aurora should be chipped! Tom worried as if it's his own daughter!
Tom: AURORA...AURORA...WHERE ARE YOU?
Aurora: here I am
Tom: Why don't you have your damn cellphone on you. I've been trying to find you for hours. Now get back into the studio. We still have one more session to do.
Aurora: I'm sorry
Tom: (mumbles) wait till I tell your freakin mom.

Is the that a bit of yellow train in no geography ?
RIP low end :'(
But NG sounded pretty great!
liked the WOTD vocal at the beginning of EV!
They added a lot of tidbits here and there. The Galvanize intro sound during Gravity Drops, the BRB I tro sound before Wide Open, the Yellow Train sample during No Geography...

The BBC are out in full force ripping down any footage from you tube. I'll never understand why they are so precious about it compared to some other companies and festivals. (including region blocking on site, even with an Australian leg of BBC now and we are part of the monarchy still)
they have 2 clips of HBHG and Galvanise on BBC site which I could play. I swear they upload the same songs every year they play though. doesn't really play a service to the chems using the same visual imagery as well you'd think its any year at glastonbury. they should do the new tracks.

Chemical Brothers have a new way to ensure a successful Glastonbury setQuoteFounding member Ed Simons watched the dance act from the audience during his hiatus from touring and Tom Rowlands believes his gap year has helped them to be better than ever.
The Chemical Brothers headlined the Other Stage in 2015 but Tom was joined by video designer Adam Smith as Ed was taking time off to write his dissertation for his master's degree.
Tom told the Daily Star newspaper: "Annoyingly now he often interjects with, 'Well as I'm the only person who's seen The Chemical Brothers live, I can tell you that doesn't work.' [...]"

If anyone can download that and send a link to a video file, I could up-res it on my end to a higher quality and post a new file. It would take about a day though to convert. Or, we can wait for a higher res version to appear on DIME or something. Either way.
I'm ripping iPlayer at the moment
The other stage iPlayer stream seems to be in 720p
Just ripping the BBC 4 footage to see if it's in 1080p
Awesome! Keep us posted, Sneaks!
Looks like 720p is the best I can see, unless anyone else with better technical knowledge knows better?
Wow , wow , wow . . just watched the full Glastonbury 2019 Chems show on bbc iplayer , on big screen tv with sound via headphones - volume loud , room darkened , . . awesome fantastic set , completely full-on and exciting. So many incredible moments , songs tweeked and re-formulated to make them sound better than ever , can't wait to see them later in the year.
Waiting for the rip. That final breakdown of Galvanize with all the acid synths is always one of the best moments live. It's very nicely recorded (as usual at Glasto). At 2:50 and 3:00 the camera shake made me feel the bass. Still thinking between London, Livorno or Franfkurt...
And I love Ed's new moves on stage. Looks like he's enjoying it much more than previous years.
I just love that Lars Ulrich knows what's up!!

The quality of these videos are incredible; possible the entire show will be on YouTube or somewhere official that Americans and others can see?
Love the camera work. Big ol Aurora hovering over the Chems like miniatures from the screen. Shots of the crowd dancing. Ed and Tom just enjoying the moment.
Would too like to be in these crowds, but I can dream.
Man, I wanna watch this show so bad on my big screen. Why does BBC have to make it so difficult? If anyone gets the 1080p full set, please help me out. I'm dying to watch this here in the States.

One of the best parts of the show is at @3:50 where the bros are getting down.
Finally taken a break and am watching this gig, and I'm blown away by what I've seen. Everything was perfection, and I love the bits of the crowd.
Takes me right back to last month, and all the gigs before. It's so, so goooooooood!
Watching the 480p version, Interesting seeing them move the Hold Tight Glastonbury Visuals to the intro of Escape Velocity
Can someone help us in The States with directions on how to watch this? I have a VPN, just don't have a phone number to use in order to get a code to watch the 480p version. Please/Thanks
I just tried going to the video page using Hola VPN.
I had to sign in (/make an account with them because I didn't have one) but I'm watching it right now on iPlayer. It looks like I might only get 30 minutes of access though so... Yeah, I would be interested in any other solutions for when I have time later to watch the whole thing.

Love waking up to some good news!!!!
I'll be 100% honest with you, I don't think there is a greater fan base of people than the fans of The Chems. Everyone here is just so nice to one another and for the most part keeps the negativity at the door. It's a great Chemmunity we've got here.
Now if we can all start a petition for them to come to Chicago that would be great, thanks bye! :))
I made a clean mp3, with fade in/out and normalized sound. PM me to have the link
Now that i have seen this (thanks to toxic), there's only one question that comes to my mind: have i ever seen a greater, better Chemical Brothers concert in my complete Chemical Brothers career?
They have improved their tour so much since the first shows in mexico and california, unbelievable. There's not one bad transition, the tracks they've choose are gorgeous (even though there's no snow/surface in there) and all the short small samples they put in here and there - pure beauty. The only two sad things about this recording is the lenght of the show (needs to be longer!!!) and the audio mix for television / streaming. That last could not be BBC standard. Some parts are loud as fuck, some parts hide unhearable behind something else.
edit: oh, there's just one more question from me => how do they get this massive amount of bengals to the festival site?

I've noticed metallers/Rockers at Chems gigs before too (denim jackets with Iron Maiden & AC/DC patches etc stitched on to them). I think Metal fans like the full-on experience they get when they go to a gig, and I guess you could say the Chems provide that too, albeit with very different music. "You are all my children now" would work well at a metal gig, I suspect.
So much i love about their Glasto 2019 set , mixing the visuals as well , . . the (patterned) animals crossing during Mad as Hell with the Bug Scatter at the end whilst all the distortion and warped sounds are going on . . freakin amazing !!!
Would be very grateful if someone can dm me a download link for this too!

They put it on their underware, some of them are small and you can easily pass security with it (no never tried it ::), I just know because it's very common here in Portugal in football stadiums.)
If I may add, three things make me sad, the robots only go live for 1 min, Piku/Playground is gone again, last year live version was f***in great. I'll also miss the Three little birds and Elektrobank beats from the set, love the funkyness of them. But I understand, you can't have it all.
Would love a hookup for whatever the nicest version of the video currently circulating is
So what's the best version around? Is there a 1080p? I only have the 480p.
Changes/additions noticed after listening to Ben_J's file:
Galvanize intro as the transition between Star Guitar and Gravity Rush drums.
additional light drum roll leading into GTKO
NG high end synth line leading from Elektrobank vocal to NG
Reverb bass drum throughout breaks in NG
ringing in NG
Wonders Of The Deep Vocal at start of EV (already mentioned)
I've uploaded a 1080p video and 256kbps MP3 audio rip. They're at the usual place. If you don't see what I'm talking about, shoot me a pm.

There's a connection of course. Marcus Lyall was involved with visuals for Metallica's tour in 2017 as per his instagram:

I've noticed metallers/Rockers at Chems gigs before too (denim jackets with Iron Maiden & AC/DC patches etc stitched on to them). I think Metal fans like the full-on experience they get when they go to a gig, and I guess you could say the Chems provide that too, albeit with very different music. "You are all my children now" would work well at a metal gig, I suspect.
Didn't realize they were connected in that way. I know Lars is very open minded so to see him at a Chems show makes sense but it makes even more sense now.

I've uploaded a 1080p video and 256kbps MP3 audio rip. They're at the usual place. If you don't see what I'm talking about, shoot me a pm.
I made some alternative cover artwork to go with the audio for folks that like that sorta thing...

If you were to break the Glastonbury show up into tracks, what would the master track listing be?

I swear, I know it's not logical for reasons I'm not qualified to give any expertise on - but if only the BBC should seize the moment and make this available for purchase!

I liked last year's Rock in Rio performance of this track best. It had those more of those extra snares and an acid line.
holy shit. a 20 GB 1920x1080 rip just showed up on dime.
Just sat on a train listening to the set again.. Lots of highlights, but something I failed to appreciate fullyon Saturday night was this version of Escape Velocity. Some of the little touches around the fringe really add to it.
I knew it was a great show on Saturday, but I'm not sure I appreciated how good..

I think its the new golden path vocals, Its kinda annoying when they have high pitch vocals overlapping the originals.

Great show, thought the lighting was spot on (fairly minimal / moody)
Don't have great memories of All Points East so was nice to sit and watch all of this
Decided to make some art for the set.
Made it with the No Geography Typeface at the same specifications as the actual album art.

Radio 1 broadcasted Glasto 2019 as an Essential Mix, with a much better quality than the TV broadcast. sadly, it's not all of the set :/ https://www.mixcloud.com/essentialmixcollection/20190629-essential-mix-glastonbury-rewind-the-chemical-brothers-four-tet
Nevermind, it's the 2015 set
Hi.
Does anyone have a broadcast audio with high bit rate of Glaso 2019? Or maybe a wav?
Don't mind if it's normalised so long as it's dynamic and isn't stodgy.
This guy used my cover artwork...

We at the BBC still aren't sure if that angry neighbour chap is saying "funkin", or something else...
