I think it's not. I have a feeling that you want to cut 50% of forum features.
Sorry - I must cut 25-50% of the features. This forum is going to be considered official so it needs to visually match the rest of The Chemical Brothers online style - especially their new main site which is very simple and scroll-able and new. Having two icons next to posts (topic type and icon) is very cluttered, and the icons do not look very professional or new.
Normally I agree with keeping features, but it is not right for this project. Less is more right now.
I will make a second theme that keeps almost all of these features and looks more like a normal forum- it won't be default but people can switch to it after registering. And I'll also try to make some message icons that are more modern. But those are a lower priority unfortunately.
Also about the badges - I like a lot of the names and ranks you came up with. I'm going to see if I can make a fluid Born In The Echoes squiggle that gets longer with the more stars you have, that way they are not so bold.
