Who Is Adam Smith?
If your new to this forum, then this article is just for you, as most of the forum veterans will know and appreciate this!
Ok! Adam Smith is a award winning director of music, televsion, and film. Adam started his career by making visuals for clubs and raves by co-founding Vegetable Vision. (1990-2002)

He then teamed up with the Chemical Brothers in 1994 by visioning and designing the crazy, psychedelic, and euphoric visulas for the band. While Tom and Ed are blasting away on the stage, Adam projects his visual masterpieces to the crowd from behind the scenes. In addition, Adam would later use his video talents for the band and create the award winning music video 'Galvanize'!

In Television, besides directing commercials for Nike and Jaguar, Adam also directed episodes of influential TV shows such as 'Skins', 'Dr. Who', and 'Little Dorrit', the multi Emmy award winning series. But his best work was with his longtime friends in 2012, when Adam directed the critically acclaimed Chemical Brothers concert film 'Dont Think'. Audiences took to their feet in cinemas worldwide and danced in the aisles. 'Don't Think' also won Best Live Film at the Music Video Awards 2013.

To this day, Adam Smith continues to be a visual asset to compliment and to echo the live sounds of the Chemical Brothers wherever they tour, whether from Detroit or to Glastonbury. This year, Adam has come out from behind the projection booth and now has joined Tom on stage (Ed will be back shortly) and will continue to deliver the technicolor, eye-sensory madness he's been doing for the last 20 years.

QuoteA particularly memorable moment comes during a segue out of Superflash when cherub clowns arrive in choral fashion before making way for a terrifying disembodied Pierrot face - who is in fact Smith's father – quoting computerized Freddy Kruger: "You are all my children now".

The black actor is Mark Monero, who has also done the visuals for Do It Again (the dancers) and Escape Velocity
Thanks! I'm going to correct that.
I didn't know that Adam's dad was Flatnose.
I went and edited my original post. Fixed!
Hey, I learn something new today.
No, as far as I know, Adam IS Flatnose. His dad just performed as the clown.
Edit:
Found an article that also notes his Flat Nose :).
QuoteBut for some directors it's all about inspiration. Adam Smith, better known in the industry as Flat Nose, has been art director for the Chemical Brothers for 12 years, [...]

I have a question. What conditions must be met to be able to work as an assistant in the production of visualizations? I have basic knowledge in this field. It's very important to me to be able to expand my passion. However, at the moment, I don't have that option. I am open to any cooperation, because I'm not afraid of challenges. Can I ask for help in this regard? I will be very grateful for Your help and understanding.

Hi Peter M,
I don't believe anyone on this forum has direct communication to Adam, Marcus, Tom or Ed in this regard. This is strictly a fan forum. Hence, why no one has responded to your post. My suggestion is reaching out to official Chemical Brother social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), and hope you get some type of response.
Best of luck
They had a screening of 'Don't Think' at Pilton Palais Glastonbury this year (2023), and Adam introduced the film with a few interesting tidbits...

So apparently 'Don't Think' was originally set to be shot in Nîmes France at the Arena of Nîmes (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arena_of_N%C3%AEmes):

Edit: They did play there (Nîmes) in 2011, and probably shot footage with cinematic intentions. Fuji Rock fans won them over, however.
