Wish the updated setlist didn't fall back on so many long-existing ideas at the expense of more recent ones - though I suppose that's what a lot of their new-record-in-the-air transitional sets look like - but if this is anything to go by I think I'm going to love all the new ideas they're reshuffling things in the name of. There's always the two different(!) Coachella streams of the last set to go back to.
(Make "Block Rockin' Beats" the opener again though! That was a good idea!!)

As per some new additions to the Chems' instagram-story concert footage roundup: with "Under The Influence" gone from the setlist the repainted George and Mildred now accompany (and color-coordinate with) "Chemical Beats", delivering the "Rump Shaker" grunts and, at one key moment, the "fuckin' excellent acid house". I like that!
Also in the "I like that" column: floating-nerd-glasses "Hey Boy Hey Girl" performer is back, in place of the weird Blue Man Group head

I genuinely think Errol must've caught wind of how much our server idolized the sunglasses guy (we nicknamed him Jerry) and he must've tipped that off to the boys, but yeah he's pink now!!! he even coordinated with No Reason too during the transition
Funnily enough George and Mildred are now the colors of the robots during the 2007 visuals (George being yellow and Mildred being green now)
Saturate is back too which...we lost Hoops for :(
Buuuut we did get Big Beat Space Gospel which I'm assuming came after Saturate, and we got Warped Pop in the first act too!
I must say, Believe vocals make for a nice segue into such a gospel inspired song like BBSG

Weirdly I've gotten used to hearing clips of Leave Home with the Go Bassline in it. I actually wouldn't mind if they did that more, had the same song in a set twice but used in a different way.

I'm a bit curious if the Jesse Jackson sermon on Big Beat Space Gospel will make it onto the almbum, or if this was a DJ edit. On the other hand, it's not that unusual for live versions to be more "musical" than their album versions. Either way, I'm sure it will be a massive track!

I agree re BRB, its a great closer. Go is a decent opener but i'd like them to use HBHG again honestly - think thats statically after No Reason now tho
I reckon Saturate might be back due to how many unreleased songs they are playing at the moment, probably chose in favour of Saturate instead of a more random song such as Hoops? Not sure - given Escape Velocity has more streams than it for example.

@ThePumisher is reading this and thinks you may have a very solid point. Verse sounds very very Rowsell. But the repeated vocals before ("it'll be"?) sound different, i would say it sounds more like Beth than Ellie.

Thanks for all of the amazing video posts! Really excited to hear more of the new album.
I wonder if the set will get another overhaul when the album is released? Not that I'm impatient, just know how these things go historically. Then again, this may be different because we're pretty far before the release date, whereas in the past the new album's set might be performed in a month or less before the release.
Also, my ears don't have perfect pitch, but I feel like TDTYF's vocals would go over Dreaming nicely.

For HBHG, OH THANK GOD! They brought back mr sunglasses! I always said it, I hated the CGI head. my stepdad knew immediately, the second he looked at my face during the song.
So cool seeing monero return for Get Yourself High (even taking over for DIA), and his wacky expressions carry over from the clown. I will miss OOC/DIA, kinda wish they kept the 2021 cut, maybe it could've had a longer lifespan thoughout the years.
come to think of it, kinda cool seeing so much removed tracks return to the setlist. (Gives me hope for Hold Tight London/TDTYF as the Encore)
