Damn. This is like torture. I'm sitting here, listening to that incredible spacey Wide Open in pure joy and trance and then it stops so abruptly. It's like being jolted out of a beautiful and mesmerizing dream.

Ah Wide Open. Beautiful. Was only a matter of time.  Lucky you Japan, lucky you. Can't wait to see more videos of that gig and the others yet to come.. making this upcoming trip to the Madrid gig that little more sweet.

Fingers crossed that you'll get the Japan treatment :)

In all honesty, I wasn't sure how Wide Open could fit into a live performance when WhiteNoise teased us that they might be playing it back in 2015. But yet again, they've managed to surprise the fuck outta me.

Holy shit :o I want to see more of the Hold Tight London rave version. Sounds even more wicked than the Trafalgar Square version

another shot of Wide Open

I guess Tom was as excited as we are :) Watch that chemical "facepalm" of disbelief

And a "head-pat" from Tom for Ed, with some double bass drum effect on Saturate

I seriously want a Rockwell Live 2016 BluRay.

Edit:
More (longer) footage of this gig
Opening and first part

Encore (Hold Tight London, Wide Open, "Devil's" Reel), poorer quality though

Another fucking gorgeous segue from HTL into WO. Almost Surface to Air/ Hoops vocals gorgeous.

Damn "Let me get my coat for everybody else does" cameraman

Great encore. Wish they played it in Gelsenkirchen.

Every fucking time they play new stuff or setlist changes, I will never get a taste of it! EVER!!!

the birds go well with the WOTD, STA visuals. Its like this big-ass mood lighting for outdoors. Good to hear HTL, I mean HTJ making the rounds again. Scouring the net for vids of this.

I hate japan sometimes! 😉
This is up there. Like, Star Guitar up there.

Yeah, we Americans get their initial set list and then they go crazy everywhere else :(

It is what we get for being dumb Americans who will elect Trump
i love chem bros omg!!!!!!!!!!!!

2015   ;D

2016   ;D

Słucham THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS od 1995 roku .

* this chemical is good, this chemical is bad *

How Tom-San laughs even though he doesn't understand a single word.
no idea, no idea

Old Out Of Control visuals back!! And just listen to those Noel Gallagher vocals come straight in around the minute mark. Superb!! I know this isn't the Yokohama gig but these videos seem few and far between from the Japan gigs..

good fucking god that is amazing!

btw those out of control visuals are my favorite. I always liked the out of control version from around 07/08 with Don't fight it feel it. Out of control should be on the setlist forever.
Can you imagine ..... an extra-terrestrial disc jockey? Like, listening to radio waves from space? It was unbelievable!
