I don't think we have a dedicated thread yet?
The first trailer was just released, giving us also a first tease at Tom's new score:

Thanks for the trailer. Someone in the YT comments mentioned the music and said "new version of Personal Jesus". I can hear where they're coming from.
But in fact the tune seems to be something else. Shazam tells me that it's Brand X: "For The Win". And Shazam appears to be correct.

As you've started a thread on this now, perhaps it might be worth popping these two insta posts in here. Considering Tom commented "Mmmmmmm" and "M" respectively on these posts, it's probably safe to assume that this stuff
is from M. We originaly posted these in the RAR thread.

I have irrational hope for some type of Morricone nod from Tom.
Just noticed this on their instagram - hadn't clocked before.

Introverts rejoice!
There's the Tom that we love for going all out during performances. Then there is the Tom who looks like he's a man who knows how to snake a clogged drain and the ability to find lost Norwegian artists in forests (pictured above).
We love both Superhero versions of our Tom.
Tom did a DJ set for the "M" party tonight, as per the Chems insta stories.
So there are re-posts from the stories of:
https://www.instagram.com/petite_eli/
https://www.instagram.com/theevesapple/ (more clips here than were re-posted by the Chems)
And also a clip of Tom talking about the M project on the stories here:
https://www.instagram.com/hollywoodreporter.it/
The tunes sound like a throwback to their BITE era DJ sets, with Go (extended) and the LL Cool J "Freak Freak y'all" vocal over a track that isn't Direct Buki.
The track is either Bush Beat by Prince Charles & The City Beat Band (re-edited), or it's Beat The Bush by Alter Ego which sampled/re-worked the Prince Charles track. I think it's the former, as below.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jajo_GS7alY
I think I aso heard a 2024 track called Merpa by GAEK, Monkey Timers & Keita Sano.
EDIT: Freestyle - Don't Stop The Rock, too.
EDIT2: Oh he played Through Me and the old breaks prototype for HBHG which I've forgotten the name of(!)

EDIT3: And Galvanize (Chems insta stories).
EDIT4: This is a surprising one. On the Chems insta stories at the moment is a clip of Tom DJ-ing (I presume at the M party) -the track is:
Charli xcx - The girl, so confusing version with Lordehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0q3K6FPzY18
Ok we know Tom worked with Lorde on TINAG, and I'll admit that the dirty synth underpinning the track is pretty good, so...there's that.
I guess Tom took the opportunity to play something he might not play in an official Chemical DJ set. Or maybe we'll hear it in their sets in November...

Just about every DJ under the sun has been playing Charli XCX this summer, even those you would least expect!
I wouldn't be too shocked to see this stick around in November
Tom is brat, is that how it works?
A couple of TIFF interviews with Joe Wright surfaced recently.
The first of these two finds Wright praising his leading man, Luca Marinelli as "the gretaest actor of his generation", he also talks about the eight hours of screen time for the M series - "that's four Atonements". He also tells us that he's just finishing a pilot for a TV show with Michael Fassbender and Richard Gere (The Agency (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt26656917/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0_tt_8_nm_0_in_0_q_the%2520agency)).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3mtELZbXCg
The second video is probably more of interest to Chems fans. At around 6:35 Wright mentions the score, and the interviewer struggles to remember Tom's name. At 7:07, Wright: "I met Tom at my first rave in 1989 above a Saxon's shoe shop". At 7:45 "Futurism...was all about energy...It felt that techno was somehow the right feeling, mood..."
This has me hopeful that we'll get some "Chemical" type stuff in addition to the cellos/strings type of score that has been hinted at on Instagram.
At 14:34, Interviewer: "this series is so good..." I guess he's seen it. Sounded sincere.
Around 15:00 Joe Wright talks about the stress of shooting for 127 days. His comment about steroids at 15:33 made me laugh.
When can we watch it? At 17:49, "We haven't got a date for America yet...Small release in Italy in December, then it's out in Europe in January".
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2g6u1WIw1uc
Incidentally it's nice to see the IMDB page (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt19386538/?ref_=tt_mv_close) for M looking complete now, and of course it includes Tom's name for all 8 episodes of the "series music" (full cast & crew).
The release date is actually listed as September 5th for Italy. I guess that date must have been subsequently pushed back.
Wait, this will be a series? I always thought about a movie XD
Quote from: Stefan on Oct 15, 2024, 10:44Wait, this will be a series?
Nope. And Episode 5 will only have "Nothing But Pleasure" and "Through Me" as score - for 45 min straight
Can't wait to see this movie episode production
Big question, will this score get a physical release? Hanna is they only one at the moment.
P.S. Charli XCX was not played November 9

Nessun Dorma. I don't think that's Pavarotti though. Not sure who the singer is. But yes, also some Techno Tom at the start! And the end.

Not sure about Misfits, but i remember they made a tracklist on the E4 homepage for every episode
Quote from: Stefan on Nov 26, 2024, 16:48Has this ever been done for a series OST?
All the time!
Some great ones that come to mind are the Cristobal Tapia de Veer soundtracks to both seasons of Utopia.
The Green Wing soundtrack, by Trellis.
And the Spaced soundtrack!
I feel like we are confusing OST with scores.
To answer the question though about TV series coinciding with a successful music release, S U R V I V E did really well with the Stranger Things score.
I wouldn't expect a physical release from this but if we are lucky, maybe a digital release of music featured in the series?
I wasn't aware that there's a difference between OST and score, so thanks, another thing learned ;D
Physical release would be awesome, but I'm happy about any form that lets us listen to what is teased in the trailer

The confusing part is OSTs can
also be Scores, or at least include original composed music for film/tv/etc... I think it might be a marketing thing, because the word "score" doesn't necessarily roll off the tongue and isn't a universal layman's word like soundtrack.
For instance:

Considering we had to make do with a DVD rip of Danka Jane and The Nina Frequency from Black Swan, and considering The Life of Galileo soundtrack remains completely unreleased, I'm just pleased that this thing is getting any sort of official release. I wasn't convinced we would see the release of a music score from a limited series about Mussolini.
Spoiler
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=up6I66qaY6Y
I'm guessing it's possible to record from Spotify in real time with Audacity or something? Is there something out there that can actually rip from those music streaming services?
There might even be a CDr sent out "for your consideration" if they want this score nominated for the Emmys or something. And a rip of something like that would be awesome if it appeared online somewhere...
I'm honestly excited for this. I wonder if it was labelled a Chem Bros score rather than a Tom score would people be generally more excited? I think they should be! This is great news. No audio recording from Netflix with pesky dialogue on top.
@hstn I hear the similarities alright. I doubt we will get the counting or the rap, but some original Chemical elements from that track would be something.
So the soundtrack will be available for stream (on January 10th) before its unannounced Television network premiere in 2025?Edit: According to IMDB (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt19386538/?ref_=tt_rvi_i_1), the TV series will be available January 10th, along with soundtrack.
I'm not familiar with Sky Atlantic network, is it something only available in Italy? Curious if there will be a US streaming platform that will distribute this relatively soon.

Both possible. I remember there was an app for Android (not released through Play Store), that could download songs from Spotify in high quality ("high quality" - the quality you get with an paid subsription on Spotify). Some friends of mine have used it at least a couple of years ago. I can ask what the name of the app was.
Maybe this lands on Bandcamp or something, given the fact that the soundtrack isn't released through a major label - or is Milan Records a major label i never heard from? Was Through Me / Nothing But Pleasure released on bandcamp?

Yes Sky is famous in the UK and Ireland, If you look at the Wiki page for the UK's Sky Atlantic (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sky_Atlantic) you will see it has the same logo that's in your Italian link. It's part of the Sky Group (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sky_Group) which first started in the UK back in 1984 and then anew in 1990.
It is (or was) satellite TV (hence the name) which was involved in the rebranding of the top division of English football, changing its name from The First Division to "The Premier League", and then turning live Premier League football into a "premium" product for which you had to pay a subscription to watch (and still do). They also launched Sky Movies in the 1990s along with Sky News and a bunch of other channels. Now owned by Comcast, Rupert Murdoch is/was the man behind it, but at least Sky News isn't like Fox News...
Here's a Sky Group announcement (https://www.skygroup.sky/article/first-teaser-trailer-for-m-son-of-the-century-released) telling us it will be on UK/Europe Sky and on NOW - which is their PAYG streaming service (no satellite dish or cable required).
I'll probably end up watching this on an unofficial app on my Firestick in January -as long as I can get some English subtitles! I don't pay for Sky...

Apparently it was/is released on Bandcamp (https://phantasysound.bandcamp.com/album/through-me-nothing-but-pleasure-ph24), although at the time I think it was originally a vinyl-only release.
If you look at your link above (reply #26) to "pre-save" on Spotify and Apple, it says down the bottom left: 2024 SONY MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT.
Discogs (https://www.discogs.com/label/81208-Milan?page=1) and Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milan_Records) also confirm ownership (since 2019) of Milan (not Italian!!) by Sony.
EDIT: That Wikipedia page for Milan Records lists Black Swan in its discography.
Ummm...what?
EDIT 2: Oh there is an OST but the Chems are "not featured on the official soundtrack" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Swan:_Original_Motion_Picture_Soundtrack)
I'm so looking forward to this soundtrack and the series, which looks brilliant! I've been meaning to read the book before watching the series. I know it's a heavy read which has been putting me off, if I'm honest. Has anyone else read it? (Apologies if this may have been asked elsewhere earlier)
But I'm super excited to hear the offerings of RAR!! The bits and pieces heard feels impactful in the trailers. It feels Chemically <3 I look forward to the dark subject matter of the series and how the music is going to accompany that - how it's going to accompany the storytelling and cinematography.
My son and I were talking yesterday about M and how we'd like to hear more scores/soundtracks during the Chems off-seasons, lol
**EDIT** SOUNDTRACK IS UP ON SPOTIFY!!!!So today is release day. It's already midnight in mainland Europe (actually 1am, it's midnight chez moi).
I wonder if we have any subscribers to Sky Atlantic on the forum?
I've had a look on Bee TV on my Firestick.
Looks like they've changed the title -in English ayway- adding an "usolini" on to the M. But that should be a double S. Whoopsie!

EDIT 3Initial thoughts on the soundtrack. It's futuristic and avant garde; good luck dancing to this! Aphex Twin might like it.
Track 4 "State of Emergency" has some kick ass real drums in a sort of breakbeat style, and I reckon that's Colin Stetson (Radiate & Reflexion) on saxophone. No sign of a credit for him on Spotify/YT though. EDIT: Presto Music (https://www.prestomusic.com/classical/products/9750220--m-son-of-the-century-original-series-soundtrack?srsltid=AfmBOoqOIsG5RZFKJda4N9nKpYzwj-hqLLUY_qTDsO9jopGrdukYr8RN) lists the album for sale as MP3, WAV and Hi-Res WAV (
@Stefan !), and it has a credit for Colin Stetson (saxophone) under track 4. I swear I've only just found this!
Track 7, "Victim" is the "go faster" thing we've heard a snippet of on Instagram. It's a bonkers track with rave sirens in it, and the brassy bits sound like the Sabres of Paradise "Theme" (12" version) meets Star Wars' Imperial March. Tom let loose!
Track 19, "Cesarino Testimonial" with its glockenspiel type melody, is the one thing that makes me think: this is the same guy who did Hanna!
Track 18, "The Violence Must Stop". For a moment I thought it was Boys Noize XTC (Chems mix). It's a banger of sorts. Perhaps the most "Chemical Brothers" thing here. It's got a groove and some claps, but not the structure for the dancefloor or radio. I think a re-work/re-edit of this could work as a Chems track.
Track 20: "Free Yourself, Free me, Mi Chiamo Mussolini!"

Ok, so now that i have listen to all of it i'll say it's a nice gift for us "who have money to burn and collections to fill". It's a solid listen, probably a better if you hear them directly in the episodes because they should fit well (i hope), but it's not a Hanna-listen and more not a Chemical13 listen - but thats ok because Ed is not involved so you only have 50% chemical force. 5/10
(Hanna is 7/10, Further is 10/10, DYOH ist 11/10, Snow/Surface is 15/10 and KDB stays godlike)
I enjoyed this much more than I thought I would, given the subject of the show, I did not expect such good beats (Victim, March on Rome, The Violence Must Stop).

So is there a title theme we haven't heard yet? I suppose it could be "Lost Population" since it's simply the first track listed, but it's not exactly a distinguishable intro (IMO)...
I hear a melody repeated in "Chasing M" "La Gioconda", "Matteotti Breakdown", "Not a Bloodthirsty Dog" and finally "Mi Chiamo Mussolini". So this has to be the show theme, right?
The fluttering strings give me a Philip Glass influence and the gentler atmospheric moments ("The Way Violence Should Be and "La Gioconda") remind me of Vangelis works.

first impressions. My ears are on fire in the best way! This soundtrack is outstanding!
I'm still very much digesting this all. It plays as a swirling aural feast of textures and energy and moods. I hear familiar bits peppered throughout. It's a lot to take in and I hope to hear this all in context of the show, soon.
Bravo!! :clap
Any info on physical release. (I hate this digital only release BS). Or ..
Any dare to predict this is going to be this years RSD release? 🤔
I don't think anything has been announced yet.
Ok wow! This is fantastic music and can very much stand on it's own feet as an album. Tom's style is very distinct in every song. In never suspected that there will be DYOH-Style bangers on a soundtrack about 30ies Italy XD
Usually I am the kind of person who listens to albums the second they're released in New Zealand via VPN, but I decided to wait for this one to have my first listen during the listening party, and boy am I happy I did!
Simply put: this soundtrack is phenomenal. It doesn't hold back, it's ruthless, it's eerie, it's brutal, and it bangs! It's so detailed and intricate, and I love to hear Tom's signature style blending in with more cinematic aspects. Personally I was on the fence whether I wanted to watch the show itself or not, but now that's a no brainer.
It was a very pleasant surprise to see that Tom himself attended the listening party too! :o He left a message in the chat encouraging us to watch the show if we can: "It's quite a thing. Definitely challenging but hopefully enlightening".
His final message for the night was this:

I'm really excited to see what they have in store for us in 2025. Will definitely be watching the skies :partyG

I mean hey, some of us on the forum have been fans since 1995, but Discord is NEW so that gets the attention...
Am I jealous? Absolutely! Will I get over it? Probably. I guess Tom might lurk here too, in which case, hello :clap . (where's the waving emoji?)
Anyway, as one or two people will be aware, I've been reacting to stuff on the Discord page today.
I'm guessing that 'THIS IS SO COOL' on Discord is a member here, as they said ""Wonder if
@ThePumisher will get his E with this soundtrack".
And it was pointed out that the bits we hear in the trailer in reply #28 on p2 here (trailer also below),
don't seem to actually be on the released OST. Worth a mention here as well. It seems Pum's E song remains completely unreleased in any form. :'(
Quote from: Joslyn on Jan 12, 2025, 18:58Any dare to predict this is going to be this years RSD release? 🤔
I like your thinking but I wouldn't hold my breath. Even when OST stuff like this does get a release for RSD, it can be years after the original date.
I'm just imagining Chems fans proudly marching (ahem!) out of a record shop with a record sleeve in their hands that displays a big fascist salute! ^-^
Looking at IMDB (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt19386538/episodes/?ref_=tt_ov_epl), I get the impression that the first two episodes have been relased in Italy so far. Presumably episodes 3 to 8
will come out weekly.EDIT: It seems to be two episodes each Friday - as IMDB states!
I also searched for UK & Ireland release dates for the show when the OST dropped. What I found was a trailer for Sky UK which says it gets released on the 4th of February.
I actually took Italian in school but I must admit I'd struggle to watch an entire series in Italian, so I guess I'll have to wait til February when we should get some English subtitles.

Loving that "Watch the skies" hint from Tom. Maybe we'll finally get the EBW which never came with FTBF last year. Also, just spitballing here, but in the wake of FTBF not being a big commercial success, wouldn't it be interesting if they decided to release some individual tracks aimed at clubs/DJs, and sort of built things up from the buzz of new tracks or 12" EPs being pursued and played by DJs. Just a thought...

The ChemBase is class. I just want to reiterate that my intention for the Discord server is for it to act as a generational bridge to introduce younger fans to older ones and vice versa - I think it's beautiful to see two groups who otherwise might have never known about each other meeting and becoming friends. We have a link to the ChemBase pinned to the very top of the server, and I'm always happy to guide people from the Discord into the forum!
I should also mention: THIS IS SO COOL was in reference to the siren sounds in
Victim - you can't deny that that's really cool ::)
I do wonder if and when Pumisher will get his E, though
I thought "THIS IS SO COOL" was someone's name. D'oh!
It was this on Discord, which I guess is all from Ezgi:

PS It's not your fault that Tom & Chemical HQ give Discord more attention than the forum, but I still felt obliged to comment cos the OG fans ain't getting the same level of Chemical love!

That's me! :D
My name is Ezgi for those who didn't know!
Has anyone in here been able to watch the first two episodes yet? February 4th seems so far away ::hb
the e, the e, the e, the e, the e, the e, the e, the e, the rection, the rection
How freakin rad to hear Tom joined the Discord listening party! :music I remember when Ed would show up here and engage in a bit of banter and it was always the coolest to see. Tom would show up on the rare occasion too, as Ban the Champagne Spiller and later on... Meerkat, I think the name was? :D
Anyway as for Discord I sadly don't spend near enough time hanging out with the siblings there! However with the way social media is getting these days, I find myself lurking about more here and there (and also because of this very exciting M Soundtrack which is a bit like Christmas in January). There is no... or should be no competition between our bridged community with Discord. We're all just a bunch of Chems geeks in whichever Chems community suits our fancy!
Howdy! Here's a Billboard interview with Tom discussing the ideas and process behind the soundtrack.

The sudden change in topic to Oasis is weird
QuoteTom Rowlands has already worked on commission for some directors such as Darren Aronofsky for Black Swan and Joe Wright for a theatrical production and for the film Hanna, in the latter case paired with Ed Simons
So Ed was not involved in Danka Jane and Electric Hands?

Hahaha, right, that was certainly a way to change gears! If Noel Gallagher is reading, he'd be a mensch if he could get Tom's kids some tickets to see Oasis. 8) :D
I would think Ed was involved in Danka Jane and Electric Hands since the Chemical Brothers are credited on Black Swan. But yeah, the wording does raise the question.
This is the freshest thing I ever heard at the start of the new year! Invigorating yet it's like nothing I ever heard before! SOE, Black Dam,Victim, TWVSB, Avanti are stellar!
Every texture, crunch, bite, is savored tastefully and methodically! This OST goes to so many places. This is Tom's olympic pentahlon for your ear holes, and Tom is medaling in all the events!
Can't wait for a physical release!

I think at 32:45 they start to talk about the music

Fear not
@Stefan - Milan Records have done CD releases, their last was for 'The Brutalist'.
So there is a very good chance there will be one, hopefully a Special Japanese release too 🤞🤞🤞
Totally hoax when posted on April 1st...(although I recently ordered Los instrumental from Schallplatlenfabrik)
Anyone watched the series besides me?
I've done a 'little' review just for you Chembase people. I'm going to have some
very light 'spoilers'. This is of course history (more or less), rather than the plot for the new Star Wars film. I don't think anything I say here will impinge on your enjoyment of the series. BTW this is an inherently poitical show with M turning to the camera in Ep 4, saying "Make Italy Great Again" (yes, it's a bit on-the-nose). So, I hope I don't get banned for reviewing it!
MUSSOLINI SON OF THE CENTURY - A REVIEWAhh, the birth of Fascism -fun times (for some)! Here's the guy who literally invented the term and proudly named his party after it. We get up close and personal with Mussolini right from the start (well, after we've jumped forward in time to his execution). He befriends us in the first ten minutes as he breaks the fourth wall and confides his thoughts and intentions.
Mussolini, a former member of the Socialists (and editor of socialist newspaper, Avanti) becomes frustrated with the socialists' "all-talk, no-action" behaviour. He sees a nation (and many ex-soldiers) disillusioned after WW1, seeking a strong leader, and he decides that movement and action are the way forward, however illegal those actions may be. Mussolini aims to win over the "lost populace"; he's interested in their "hearts, not their minds". Yep, M is the orginal populist Fascist, and he's proud of it.
Joe Wright isn't afraid to use every weapon in his arsenal to engage us with the details of this story. And at almost eight hours in length, he has more time than a typical two hour film would. As well as fourth wall breaking, Wright uses black & white footage -both real and contrived, he uses theatrical looking sets as well as some beautiful building interiors, he uses weird and wonky camera angles, puppets (he did this in Life of Galileo too) and of course Tom's soundtrack. Most of the time, it all works.
Oh and did I mention Luca Marinelli's central performance? Hugely powerful - as he portrays "a man... dogged by self‑doubt and only ever one bad piece of oratory away from losing the faith of his followers" Yes, I've nicked that straight from this Guardian review (https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2025/feb/04/mussolini-son-of-the-century-review-a-brilliantly-performed-portrait-of-a-pathetic-monster). And it's true that we watch Mussolini struggle and often appear close to failure. At one point he has his bags packed, ready to flee to Switzerland and leave his co-conspirators behind. Mussolini seems to be constantly teetering between success and failure - like a high wire artist who likes to bark and swear a lot.
Wright bravely decided to keep this story in Italian, having considered using English. If you've ever wanted to learn the Italian words for dickhead, cocksucker and wanker, well this is the show for you! I do wonder how this (choice of Italian) may affect it's commercial appeal though.
So we have met the "who". As for the "how", well... there's Chaos for starters; Mussolini loves a bit of chaos. And contradiction too (one day M is against the concept of elections, the next day he loves them). Mussolini is happy to make statements that he knows he can't back up (does this sound familiar?). And then there is boundary shifting. M explains how, by saying something that's way outside of accepted political boundaries, he can now shift the whole conversation in one direction, so that when he shifts back a little bit, his ideas don't seem so unreasonable. This reminds of me of a 2017 Vox video about Moving the Overton Window (https://tinyurl.com/yckrebzm).
Oh and the other big "how"? The violence of course. The Blackshirts are portrayed as a bunch of bloodthirsty hooligans, only too happy to come together -like a militarised version of the droogs in A Clockwork Orange- to engage in some ultra-violence. Many of them are ex-soldiers, discarded and seeking purpose.
The Blackshirts are a double-edged sword for Mussolini though, causing him problems when he gets into Parliament. Tom's "The Violence Must Stop" actually soundtracks Mussolini berating the Blackshirts after they killed a priest (amongst other people). M can't really control the Blackshirts - because they're bloodthirsty hooligans, and now that he's in Parliament, they're kinda tainting his 'respectability'.
I have to say that after each episode I felt a little worn out. Perhaps from reading the subtitles, or perhaps from the combination of the loud central performance and all the other tricks that Wright throws at us. Tom's music is up front in the mix, and I can imagine that might divide some viewers. Personally I liked it, and it felt appropriate that Tom's soundtrack might bash us on the head occasionally - after all, that's what Mussolini and the Blackshirts were doing.
I can't imagine binge watching more than two episodes of this at a time. The Guardian reviewer says "It is a long grind...". And I get what he means. It may be aprropriate for the book (784 pages!) but there are times when it feels a little long winded.
Do I feel like reading the book now that I've finished the series? Well, after reading almost eight hours of subtitles, no not really! Although I
could be tempted to read books 2 and 3.
If there are going to be adaptations of Books 2 & 3, then it may all make sense in the long run. If not, then I would have actually preferred a ten or twelve part series that covers all three books.
When we reach the end of episode 8, it is a particularly dramatic and sombre moment (I won't say why, here). My first thought was: "Can't wait for episode 9!" But there is no Episode 9. It feels incomplete. So I very much hope that
somebody will adapt books 2 and 3.
M doesn't quite get five stars from me, but it is good. If you're open to all the bells and whistles from Joe Wright, if you're happy for Tom's score to jump into the foreground, if you don't mind the regular breaking of the fourth wall, then don't hold back; seek this out. 4 stars out of 5.
Incidentally some of the music is noticably different - either in the edit or the actual sounds/production. And there is additional stuff here that's not on the released OST. I might do a separate post on that in the next day or two.

HOW TO WATCHI mentioned previously that Sky TV are owned by Comcast these days - the same people who own NBC in the USA. After the credits, there's an NBC Universal Global Distribution logo. So you might imagine that NBC would eventually show the series in the US. For now, it does appear to be available on Prime Video in the US (https://www.primevideo.com/detail/Mussolini-Son-of-the-Century/0IYODEOZSF6SH11VTRZINZT27U) (but not Canada or Mexico). So, Americans I think your wait is over, and possibly has been for a while now.

@Joslyn: that doesn't seem like something Tom would joke about
Just finished the first episode here in Australia.
Streaming for free on the SBS On Demand service.
The soundtrack fits in so wonderfully and makes sense watching it and how it is incorporated within the show 👌👌
