From what I've understood, all Coachella tent stages have seen an expansion in space over the years. Mojave is reserved for additional production value, and or, counter crowd control (3 C's!) away from Main Stage or Outdoor Theater.
Tomora should be perfectly fine in The Gobi tent, especially being a new act.
What I think is worth mentioning though, Black Flag could potentially be a problem for Aurora/Chemical Brother fans whom might camp early for a good spot for Tomora. Black Flag is a legacy hardcore punk band who is scheduled before Tomora and that could produce some rowdiness that some might not be prepared for. Be patient, the Black Flag crowd will clear out and make their way to the Mojave for Iggy Pop.
Peeps, my internet has been broken all weekend and my provider doesn't have estimated time for when it will be all sorted. I've been getting some service past midnight my time, thus why I've caught a lot of the sets late.

But holy fuck. What an absolutely stunning show. They were learning as they were going it seemed and it was beautiful to watch. The extra girl (sorry, I know we know here name but I can't look it up right now) was excellent. Especially at the end there, catching the harmony and lifting Aurora up.
Tom clearly having the fucking time of his life. I'm so giddy watching him have fun up there.
Really hoping they announce a larger US tour soon, because I'm there with bells on. And I'll be wearing the above mentioned tweeking cat shirt and my new TOMORA hat.

@Enjoyed 's text to me, we would be extremely interested in how Aurora based fans thought of that. The performance is obviously swayed more Chemical yet slightly different for us. Don't be shy, I can handle if you feel disappointed.
I thought the vocals were pretty well leveled considering how loud Chemical Brother concerts can get. Amelie would be a great 3rd for the band, and would be cool to see her incorporated if this project has a future.

I guess there's a chance Aurora fans weren't as keen and it seems less likely to succeed? I hope not! But it certainly was a very Chemical leaning show, which is great for us. But maybe not the majority buying tickets? Who knows!
It's going to be interesting to see how next week's show is going to be received.
Got to say on first impression "In A Minute" strikes me as the equal of anything else Tom's allowed to approach or pass the 10-minute mark. Also for those unaware that was far from the only Pink Cat at Coachella this weekend:

I am enjoying the Tom Rowlands multiverse (solo stuff, Chem Bros, Tomora)
Amalie helps bring it together as a trio, especially when all three are jamming on the gear with Tom!
Love her chemistry with Aurora.
Like Enjoyed said about Tom, he's definitely on a higher dimensional plane than ever before. The guy looks so relaxed up there on stage.
And for Aurora, she is such a presence. I got a second look at 'somewhere else' this time around and she is such a pro doing it live. IDTL sold me immediately with her singing.

Weekend 2 was much more on point. The synchronization between Aurora and Amalie was significantly better. The work of the camera peeps and director was way better. Everything better.
