Anywho, big news lately, there's currently an active ARG teasing (what is thought to be) their 5th album, 13 years after the previous one.
People who placed order for new BoC merch on Warp/Bleep recently started receiving VHS Tapes with 7 hexagons on them, the content of the tapes was a bit cryptic and not much came out of it

Then, some creepy posters started appearing at various locations in London, New York and other big cities :

There is still no word on a new release, but it will soon come, for sure.
In other news, and with a convenient timing, new high quality rips of old and rare BoC material (A few old tunes, Old tunes Vol. 2, Boc Maxima) were recently released on https://www.rareboc.org/
Additionally, a reddit user came forward last year, claiming they found in their dad's stuff a CD with BoC stuff on it, including soundboard rips of some live shows, as well as unknown unreleased stuff. Everyone shut him out and dismissed it as fake, but a couple tracks from the soundboard rip surfaced recently, indicating that this user was in fact legit. Alas we might never get the rest of it...

I went to a listening party at my local record store last night, bought the LP and listened once more this morning.
I don't have any personal favourites yet, but so far I love it as a whole. There are a few moments that felt a bit more in your face than previous albums, but it's pretty much exactly what I was hoping for from a new BoC album in 2026!
I've been listening to it on repeat over the weekend, it's truly amazing and might have just stolen the top spot from Tomora for my favourite album of the year
Very much enjoying this too. 'You Retreat In Time And Space' is my runaway winner so far.
