During their recent performances (since 2010) the brothers have always used a *whoompwhoomp* effect during segments of their sets. its more common during their 2019 sets but even some older sets it can be heard.
I wanna know what effect/pedal they use to make that effect.

Here's some examples

It seems like it's a flanger effect. They started using that particular flanger in 2015 I think, so I'm not sure which piece of equipment they used for it. Might be an effect from the NI Maschine.

Low pass filter with an LFO + flange + delay are the effects i'm hearing

but what do I know, I'm just a french fry with troll doll hair on top

i love chem bros omg!!!!!!!!!!!!

Line 6 Filter Pro set on the "Comet Trails" algorithm. They've had that in their live setup (along with the Line 6 Echo Pro) practically since they were released. There are demos, unfortunately I could only find guitar demos that were semi decent, but the the effect is pretty distinct, so you can hear it easily at 10:28:

Also, the setting before (Spin Cycle) is used by them a lot (especially during the WATN tour) and can be heard on Superflash pretty clearly too.

Holy crap, thank you! I wonder if its compatable with pc and music software such as FL (or if there's a clone VST out there). Also I know exactly which part of Superflash, the parts right before the beat drop.
