love that one. Does Jan 15 hold relevance?

I'm guessing the specific date was unintentional, since any January 15 on significant years for the song isn't a Monday, hah!

Oh boy - Round 2 guys, here's the finished print, with loads of additions:

Bosco you nailed it - the black/grey/white makeup is gone now. It was a Galvanize video reference.
Never for money, always for love.

So many new ones!!

Spoiler
Radiohead sticker
Left field jawbones
Mr Oizo Flat Eric puppet
Pint on a choose life beermat for Underworld

Just to name a few. This is too much fun!

Aha! So now it's the to BrO bottles, the welding-robo from Believe and George & Mildred then?
"You cannot eat money, oh no. You cannot eat money, oh no. When the last tree has fallen and the rivers are poisoned, you cannot eat money, oh no."
— Aurora (The Seed)

Liking the Herbie Hancock "rockit" legs.
IT'S MORNING TIME!

This was fun, but I don't appreciate the half measure by the creator.

When will we see Vengaboys or Eiffel 65 added?

While we are hard-lined into the history of Electronic music and with time to waste, here is a great tool to familiarize yourself with some sub-genres, artists, and groups you might not be familiar with.

Hope you don't mind, but I split the topic.

Any other images we're still trying to figure out. Besides that damned cigarette case!?

We actually already know the Cigarette case. It's the first Yellow Magic Orchestra album (along with the brown & green thing in the shelving). WN mentioned it a while back (and he got it from someone on Reddit, I reckon!).

If I understood correctly, the spacehoppper wasn't actually related to a general Birmingham rave/trance scene after all but is actually a specific artist. I haven't checked reddit to see if there was an answer to that one. Might check back here in a couple of days when Chembase + Reddit have everything figured out. Perhaps Bosco's fave artists will be in it now, and fingers crossed for some 2 Unlimited and Alice DeeJay as well.
IT'S MORNING TIME!

So you're telling there is no Scooter or Marusha in it? Westbam? Sven Väth?
unfuck the world please

Before reading the thread:

Action Jackson got Devo waaaay back in Reply #2. But you can have Sebastian
Actually maybe you can't. Others here think it's the Human League. I'm not sure which it is now.

Good spot. The Blue Monday date is strewn on the floor, rather disrespectfully now.  :(

deadmau5 (there's a dead mouse)

What do Bis and Ter mean? [EDIT: oh it seems to be a Latin-derived thing that French people use.]

Oh also, we have Herbie Hancock's mechanical Rockit legs on the left. But could the mechanical arm on the right be a reference to the Chems' Believe?

I believe [ 8)] Csar spotted that one too.

100% it's The Human League, not SebastiAn. If you look at the Dare cover, the grid lines are in the same spots and frame the face. My first instinct was Ross Ross Ross too though!

With all these double guesses, this thread just furthers the proof people just like to hear themselves talk/type  :P  Me included!  :P

Spoiler

2 Cones = Twin Peaks?

Beverly Hills Cop = the theme from the film. It was later made into "crazy frog", and while one doesn't exist without the other I'd be willing to debate which was more significant.

Theremin = Theremin. It was largely THE instrument/sound effect for Sci-Fi related films/TV back in the day.

Admittedly I started the spoilers, but do we still need them?
I do wish the viual artist would stick to one reference per act. He already has the "Go West" hemisphere hats in there for PSB. Did he need to add the cone hats too?

I didn't know it was only used in french, sorry 😅
