Now for that Elektrobank demo, I know I heard it before, but I can't figure out where or in which context. Probably in a live recording from 96/97 ?

I don't really need a new Powerbank but now I want that elektrobank
Yeah, it looks fun, but 33€ for 4000mAh is a bit pricey, isn't it? Just saying it cannot fully charge my phone a single time
no idea, no idea

I wonder if the LP will be limited to 1997 copies or not. Either way, dont sleep. Just ordered the LP & the postcards. Hope the bonus tracks are great. Elektrobank bonus isn't very exciting but its marked as a demo so that is why it doesn't feel finished. Hopefully the other alt mixes are epic like the ones on Surrender.

never actually believed we would see unreleased tracks from the dyoh era. so cool
Eight or over.

Oooh, much excite!

Party pooper. I'm kinda thrilled by it.

Ed Chemical is logged in right now. Can he tell us about I Love Tekno? (EDIT 13.50, now he isn't).

Hang on, release date 29th JULY?? Gah!  >:(
Yea though I walk through the valley and shadow of death
every day of my life,
I fear no evil for The Lord is with me.

There's a mini website up with the story behind each track:

EDIT: and now I have the answer to my own question: "I Love Techno" was the working title of Don't Stop The Rock

Not the bonus tracks though. Do we know anything about Cylinders?

Electrobank demo is also on YouTube music. Does this embed?

Guess not. Oh well, there's a LinkTree type thingy for the track anyway. So you can legally DL the track if you want. You can buy it from Beatport in Lossless too.

But where is the story behind Cylinders or Not Another Drugstore?

And talking about NAD - why hasn't this release all those b-side included?

And no word of Dig Your Own Hole originally was supposed to be for Björk

no idea, no idea

Is anyone else unable to buy the limited edition LP ? I keep getting the "Cart changed, please review." error at checkout.

Looks like its not sold out yet. I had no issues buying the LP but you could submit a contact request

I tried again with Firefox instead of Chrome and it worked. Weird.

hm kinda just want that print that comes with the LP.

anyone else find it odd that the postcard set has pre-dig-your-own-hole material? anyone recognize the 'stop' art?

when I saw it on their store ("1,997 copies") I thought "what an odd number". then I saw your post.

Do you mean these Electrobank bonus tracks?

I can't imagine the new CD2 will have much more than half an hour of 'new' music on it. Seems a shame to leave empty disc space. So perhaps dropping tracks 1 and/or 6 from the above link you could probably squeeze the Loops of Fury EP on there too.
Not that it's going to happen...

So, Happy Bday to my second fav album of all time! B) (first one is Music for the Jilted Generation)

I'm super hyped about the bonus material, really love that Elektrobank Demo, it's really like just the alternative mix of it.

But what I'm excited the most is the Where Do I Begin, I Love Tekno and Cylinders B)

Btw, about the I Love Tekno thing, it's basically the Don't Stop the Rock B) :
Where do I start?
Where do I begin?

Took friday off this week, so an anniversary listen of DYOH is the perfect start into an early weekend  :music
Always amazed at how well these tunes age

Do you mean these Electrobank bonus tracks?

I'm talking about

  • Buzz Tracks (Setting Sun)
  • Prescription Beats (Block Rockin' Beats)
  • Morning Lemon (Block Rockin' Beats)
  • Not Another Drugstore (Elektrobank)
  • These Beats Are Made For Breaking (Elektrobank)
  • Otter Rock (Singles 93-03 Disc 2)

no idea, no idea

I would've also liked a 25th anniversary of the DYOH singles, with each of them having alternate takes of the single and other unreleased stuff on them.

Yet another copy of this album added to the collection!  ;D
This is up there. Like, Star Guitar up there.

oh man great idea. missed opportunity. even just re-pressing the original 12" singles and bundling them with the album would really make this pack a punch. (it would probably also increase production delays and shipping damage, so...)

right? having a copy of the white 1000-edition 2017 reissue was apparently not enough for me, now I will also have a copy of the black 1997-edition 2022 reissue. I am so effing spoiled.

Disappointing. I mean 5 bonus tracks, c'mon. Just compare this to the Surrender box set. And even that wasn't really a comprehensive box - although I quite like the Japanese bonus disc.

Actually there were exactly 5 unreleased tracks on Surrender box set
Can you imagine ..... an extra-terrestrial disc jockey? Like, listening to radio waves from space? It was unbelievable!
