is this a thing that has stopped? I've bought so few CDs the last few years, though come to think of it none of them were in jewel cases...

I haven't bought that many releases either, but all of them had a cardboard sleeve. I honestly can't remember when was the last time that I bought a new release in a jewel case. Maybe it was the "Essential" CD, also by Soulwax

They've been mixing FLIAD with Blue Monday for a while. Could it be that?
