Cant say Im a Danny Brown expert, I knew of him but never looked into it further. Some of his lyrics are the usual hip hop cliche's of sexing women and drinking and drugs with the occasional piss take on that and saying something meaningful. But now maybe I should with making his mark on the Avalanches and just loving the production on this track.

...'cause I don't like whats going on in the world. I'm scared of that...

Say what you want about the Crookers, this is fantastic. And Murphy is flawless here.

Never for money, always for love.

Baby Huey & The Baby Sitters - Hard Times

no idea, no idea

Love the album too regardless of whether the original singer is gone:

...'cause I don't like whats going on in the world. I'm scared of that...

This is dreamy, psychedelic, familiar, and seems as if it floats across the wee-hours come down of a late night party.

I dig this kind of stuff.

(P.S. There's some brief nudity and deep kissing in this clip, just in case some of you may be easily triggered by that sort of thing.)
Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.

That album was one of my dearest find ever, I stumbled upon it on YT few years ago, I still enjoy it very much, glad you also like it 😊

I can hit cheeky lizards if I want!

I know the original video was posted a while back, but...

Oh Jan Böhmermann. How I love he.

That would have blown my mind. If I had a mind.
"We going up!" and then pogo for the stars
"why yes, yes you are crazy and I love you for it!" Whirly

One of my favorite bootleg remixes. The Marvo Ging and Hold Tight London remixes from that album are excellent too.

Never for money, always for love.

As far as I'm aware, Acid Trax by Phuture was THE beginning of Acid House.
One of Phuture's three founding members, Spank Spank (AKA Earl Smith) has passed away.
