This new Kendrick Lamar album is pretty good. And that track is much better than what a "Kendrick Lamar feat. U2" track sounded like in my head

I've always loved the Fader mix.  Great remix of a great rework of a great tune.  Also, I totally forgot about Pepe Deluxe.

I was a bit disapointed by that live set. The vocalists all sounded wrong :/

Seeing them for the 7th time on Monday!!!

International Pony - A New Bass Line for José
Loving the Pony, but i have to say that the best release from them is a remix by Akufen

Leaving Home (Akufen Remix)
It's a great remix, no doubt. I'm a big big fan of the original though along with the rest of the We Love Music album.

This tune from their sophomore album is also pretty tasty:

Kate Tempest - Happy End
I'm suprised she appeals to anyone outside the UK.

Anyone else into Tom Demac ?
Gotta admit his productions are always good. I asked him on twitter recently about Linda's Theme. He confirmed the vocal was a sample (not really a surprise) but wouldn't say what it was. Sounds like Nancy Sinatra to me, but if it is, it must be an obscure B-side or something.
I think Demac needs an album to really establish himself. He's released enough tracks now that it must be a conscious decision not to make an album. Seems a shame.

Is the dog still in the piano?

He is indeed. Snapping and barking and biting for eternity.

LCD Soundsystem - Call The Police

Starts off a bit boring but gets better. Guitar reminds me a bit of Bowie's Heroes or LCD's All My Friends. And at 7.25 on this radio rip, St Etienne's Sarah Cracknell offers her opinion. Bonus!

p.s. At times the vocal reminds me of Bono. Which Murphy probably wouldn't appreciate.
