It's 237!  That's also the best number because it would make you the Turbo Nutter of the deluxe owners

I got a sad song to dedicate to my Sister. There is no way I can share this with her cause it will trigger utter sadness in a moments notice.

First, I want to share a tragic story that happened recently with my family. Normally I'm not the type that shares a ton of personal family stories/moments, but understanding how frustrating the world can be now-a-days I feel it might be helpful for someone to hear that tragic shit does happen, and if it's happened to you, you're not alone. And ok, maybe it might be a little cathartic for me too...

My sister's husband (42) passed away from a heart attack a week ago on June 30th. What makes it even harder to accept, the 30th is their 3rd year anniversary of their wedding, TO THE DATE. He was an extremely warm personality that I'm sure would make a positive impression on just about every person on here. He LOVED people and was comfortable with everyone. To dig the wound deeper my Sister and him just purchased their first house in April, which they obviously had big plans for.

There's been some extremely complicated situations with my family in the last couple of years, which of course, always comes with life. But this is a gaping wound for all of us as a unit. I don't think my Sister will ever recover from this.

And I'm not naive knowing all this being a minuscule situation compared to the wide scope world tragedies that come at us daily. (Thinking of you Venezuela.)

So I want to dedicate George Harrison's "All Things Pass". The song is about the ending of The Beatles, but it definitely can be doubled for death of a loved one. And I'm taking that liberty, because the first song my sister learned was "Here Comes the Sun" by The Beatles written/sung by George Harrison. Without a further ado...

Last Edit: Yesterday at 06:55 by Bosco

F#ck, no Bosco. How incredibly sad to learn this. Man, I wish I could give you all a big, consoling hug. Unfortunately, I can relate all to well, not with spouses but friends and family, so this hits hard. Last year had been a horror trip personally as well.

You're not "naive" at all and nothing that's happening in the world takes away from your personal pain and loss you guys are going through. There's nothing miniscule about it at all. It's got a profound impact on your lives and you have every "right" to feel what you feel.

I love how you describe your borther-in-law (?) and I'm sure it would have been great to have met him. What better thing is there to say about someone in your life than that?!

Sending you all the love and strength from the bottom of my heart. I know, even if it doesn't feel that way right now and it might seem impossible to even imagine at the moment, especially for your sister, but you will get through this, together.
Wolf Alice is the best band alive.

@Csar

I appreciate the nice words. And I'm sorry for any grief you might be experiencing as well. You're a good guy.

I will say, this is a unique situation where I'm afraid the grief of this moment will never subside. There's plenty of reasoning behind that, but unfortunately I'm gonna have to be vague.

anyway, don't want to turn this thread into a sympathy thread. Enjoy music! The best y'all can help me is by making the forum fruitful and continuing the conversation of whatever is on your mind.
