They've dropped Direct Buki or have used the Good/Bad Chemicals Sample on a different track, the video of that is really short but i tend to the second option
You were right with the second option. They played a lot of samples on a different tracks, vocal samples also.

I have slept very little, in a little while I have the flight to Buenos Aires for round 2.
I saw that the video I uploaded is blocked in some countries or regions. It's for Feels Like I Am Dreaming... When I can I will remove it from the video.

In germany it works fine, maybe you just upload the edited version as well instead of replacing it

It's 237!  That's also the best number because it would make you the Turbo Nutter of the deluxe owners

The YouTube video plays fine in the UK as well @nekoland

Some insta stories from Friday night.

Although the stage looks good (and big), the venue doesn't look that big for an outdoor venue in the daylight IMHO. Do we know what the capacity was?

Thumper by Carpainter - That's what Shazam says .  This had "these chemicals are good/bad" overdubs I think.

Bring Me Love? Might be an old Goa Trance vocal? Feel like I've heard this a long time ago.

Can anyone identify 30:40 - 39:50?  That feels like the bones for something. I mean it gets 9 minutes of play so already suspect. Has couple of interesting interludes too.

Ah, I think we got something. From Bugged Out thread:

Thank you so much for uploading!

Edit: the track that starts at 19:00 is wild!

And I want to know more about the track that starts at 30:30!

I'm gonna have a go at doing a tracklist for this video.

0:00 Shepard tone style Chemical intro sounds
2:05 The Hotstepping Chemical Brothers new intro track (i.e. Open The Door To Your Heart re-edited). Additional acid/production circa 5.05, added since the UK dates I think.
6:35 Derek Carter - Where You At
12:15 - 19:00: Several tracks, at times on top of each other:
a) Frankie Bones - Just A Rush
b) Koto Motomura - Rhythm
c) It Began In Afrika vocals.
d) Probably something else.
This 7 minute section sounds like a mess to me, and it doesn't really hook me into the DJ set, following on from the Derek Carter track - which was just ok.
19 mins: An edit/jump to a new bit, as Nekoland must have got bored!
As @Stefan said, this bit at 19:00 is wild. But is it 'good' wild?  Is this the genre of Tribal Video Game Techno? Unreleased Chems I believe. Was played at the UK dates. It scrambles my brain.
24:18 New track. More unrelesed Chems I believe. See also the BRISTOL 3 VIDEO. Is it Techno-breaks? With vocal samples from "My Beat" by Blaze featuring Palmer Brown "The rhythm, the rhythm, the rhythm..." and "we get high". Finally something good! Am tempted to call this either The Rhythm or We Get High.
30:26 a video edit/jump. Techno-y track, vox: "I've got the power?" More unreleased Chems I think. Doesn't shazam. At 32:25 (and beyond) still in this track we get, "So funky...no bums!" vox from The Wild Style by Time Zone. The techno production gets quite grinding. The interludes are good but the overall track wears you down! Hi @Bosco don't hate me!
39:51 a video jump/edit. FLIAD vocal still over the last track. Then FLIAD continues (why is there a drone over the crowd @nekoland ?). Feels like relief after the last track.
46:13. I think the Carpainter "Thumper" track was coming in but the video jumps to something else. A Samba track (just for Argentina?) overlaid with Free Yourself vox sample AND with TWR72 - "Mouse". Kinda messy TBH.
50:16: EBW6 wipes away the previous mash up/mess.
51:09: Video jump to new track: The Menacing Bing Bong Techno Track! Unreleased Chems, I think. Heard in BRISTOL 4 VIDEO. Male vocal on top: "move your body, relax your soul" (?) and "I wanna dance to the beat" (?). I like this. Maybe it doesn't need the spoken vocal?
55:45: A video jump to: The Shuffling Snare Techno Track! Loving the breakdown to the drums at 57:30. More unreleased Chems I think. And it's good! See THE BRISTOL 2 VIDEO.
58:30 to the end: Two Shell - Ghosts. (and a hint of Chems Live Again at the end).

The word that springs to mind from these new tracks is TECHNO. Is this Techno-y stuff all going to be on the next album? Could there be a Tom-goes-techno EP in the works? Will Chemical fans like this stuff? So many questions! I do like some of it...

IT'S MORNING TIME!

Hey @nekoland, outside of your own natural excitement for Chems being in Argentina, what was the general consensus of the weekend? You think Chems will be back relatively soon with their live show?

Thanks again for recording some of it and sharing!

Well, now I'm finally rested. It was an incredible weekend, and I'll tell you about it in this brief story:
Thursday night, after work, I took a bus to the city of Córdoba. It was about a 7-hour trip (I live in Mendoza, a city about 600 km away). The heat was unbearable, reaching peaks of 40°C (104°F) with overwhelming humidity. The show was about 40 km from the city, next to a large lake. I met some people from Puerto Madryn (1300 km away), and we were all quite excited about the event. We arrived just in time—the ChemBros were set to start at 11 PM, and we got there at 10:45 PM. It was a pleasant surprise; at first, I was a bit disappointed that it was a DJ set, but after nine years without them coming, I was more than grateful.

It was a "weird" experience—without a doubt, they have a unique sense of live performance. But in this case, I think they didn't play it safe; it was something very experimental. Ed mentioned in this interview this new post-COVID format, partly to cut costs and partly because they started as DJs. The oppressive heat didn't matter, and I was able to enjoy the set. My only criticism: the songs had incredibly long versions—"All of a Sudden" lasted about 15 minutes, and it really felt like it; people even stopped dancing.

After their set, I returned to the hotel around 5 AM, and by 11 AM, I was already at the airport heading to Buenos Aires.
I have no idea why, but I enjoyed this second set even more, even though it was almost identical—except this time, they closed with "Escape Velocity." There were around 15,000 people, but I think many felt disappointed due to the lack of hits. They only played: All of a Sudden, EBW6, Feels Like I Am Dreaming, Hey Boy Hey Girl (ARTBAT Remix), Free Yourself, Live Again, Star Guitar, Swoon, and Escape Velocity. In some of the videos I uploaded to YouTube, there were some "outraged" comments about this... but I think it's because, after so many years without them coming, they showed up with this almost unprecedented format in South America (they had only done it in Colombia in 2012). However, I saw more positive comments, and I prefer to focus on those.

Honestly, I saw the ChemBros being very grateful. Ed was on fire, dancing and doing his classic moves. Tom, too, with his hand gestures mimicking sounds and hyping up the crowd. And the exclusive t-shirts were a nice surprise.
I sincerely hope this is the starting point for them to come more often and in both formats. It was a beautiful experience—exhausting but worth every penny and every effort.

Before anything else, I appreciate the explanation and details of the video—great work! And I didn't get bored, just my arm got tired haha

why is there a drone over the crowd @nekoland ?
Well, I don't know if this is common throughout South America, but here in Argentina, at every festival, football match, and even in indoor venues, it's very common to see drones. I don't know why, but every recording has to include an aerial shot. Oh, and yes, there's no regulation prohibiting it.

That's a great question. I think they'll take it easier this year. Hopefully, their live shows will return soon. But I feel like they're enjoying this new format, or at least trying to create something new. They have a lot of material, and I believe something will come to light at some point.  If I had to bet, they'll continue with a few more summer dates, and by the end of the year, we'll hear news about a new tour or a solo show.
