I guess I was the only person in the world buying Coca Cola & Coffee, because they straight up do not sell it any more.

Huge bummer. I used to love my once a week Coke & Coffee: Vanilla fix.

Kellogg's also stopped selling Rice Krispie Treats cereal a while back, which is a tragedy I don't think I'll ever fully recover from.

Just let me kill myself slowly in peace. Please & thank you.

Not related but kinda....  back in the day, Coca Cola did a Black Cherry Vanilla that ran a relatively short life, and I swear to this day, has to be the best Coke product I've ever tasted. My guess is if I had again today, I'd probably hate it.

...and while we are on the topic of Soda, or soda related products. Squirt is the best soda out there on a macro level. It might only be available regionally, but if you see it, try it. A great beverage to pair with street style Mexican food.

As for Rice Krispies Treats cereal... with the exception of original recipe Cookie Crisp, quite possibly the best dessert cereal ever created. To that, I empathize. A forgotten cornerstone of 90's American indulgence. We wonder why American Millennials tend to be obese, well here it is.

Thank you Microsoft for uploading the "documents", "desktop" & "pictures" folders to OneDrive without asking...
And since OneDrive is of course the number one priority in your world, i'm not allowed to stop the synchronization otherwise you'll 1. have the files deleted from my device instead of OneDrive and 2. these folders are considered important system folders and the permanent synchronization cannot be reversed anyway (like Windows will explode or something).
There was a reason why i set up OneDrive manually (and intentionally not on c:)

Edit: everything was better when OneDrive was named SkyDrive  ;D

Unless the tile is a jagged hazard, I think the only thing left to do is personalize the tile with your name and date.

"Brooks Was Here"

Anybody knows a complete free vpn to use on windows and android to keep me listening to 6 Music in the future? "BBC.com" only offers Radio 4 and BBC World Service  :(
I tried a couple of free vpn in the past for iplayer, but none of them let me choose GB so that hasn't worked. Or much better a vpn that i can run on my router so my stereos with internet-connection can still provide me with 6 music and i don't have to stream it from my phone or pc to them.
This situation really grinds my gears (to stay on topic).

Modern ways of releasing music in a physical way  ::hb

  • Label/Artist announced new album - fine so far
  • Label starting pre-order of album - why the heck is a pre-order necessary?
  • 2 weeks later label announced a limited edition of the album exclusiv to the artists/label webstore with different cover and coloured vinyl for pre-order - you had no plans to annouce (and release) this with the announcement of the regular version?
  • 10 days later another limited edition with different cover and vinyl-colour is announced for pre-order, this time exclusive to a record-shop (you've never heard of) - also no plans for this 3 weeks ago?
  • While the first single is available for streaming since weeks and already has a music video, the physical release of the single is announced nearly a month after the album - including a b-side that seems to have no name for some reason but got a lenght
  • Still no news of the tracklist for the album. How many songs are on it? Do we have names for the tracks? What about the b-side to the single - is this a non-album track or will it be on the album. Will the single itself be on the album? (ok, chances are 99,99% it will be...) Do the limited editions have a different tracklist? Do they have bonus tracks?

Is it that hard to announce it all at once?
Pre-ordered the regular version. Oh wait, theres a limted edition that looks better - but i've already pre-ordered the regular version? Ok, let's pre-order the limited edition too before it's not available anymore on the store (but will be available on discogs for twice the money). Damn now theres a second limited edition looking even sexyer - ok, fuck that shit "angry flipping over the table move"

Wolf Alice did it just that way..

Announced the new album and made it up for pre-order, no information on a tracklist

What if I told you that there are even two more limited editions (store exclusive) going to be available?

Can't wait for it to be released, though. Those two new songs are just marvellous.
Wolf Alice is the best band alive.

I think you've hijacked @Csar 's login. You've even put a message at the foot of his posts saying "Wolf Alice is the best band alive."
What are the chances that two German forum members are this keen on Wolf Alice? They're a British indie band!

I suggest just torrenting the album for free, and avoid all the record company hoopla. That'll teach 'em.
IT'S MORNING TIME!

Hey Csar! Welcome back!
I can hit cheeky lizards if I want!

Why is the London subway station Barking not located on the Isle Of Dogs?? Who did the city planning of that? I hope they were fired.

The abundance of variants these days is out of control, and completely agree that staggering the announcements is highly inconsiderate. I suspect it is planned so the record company can milk it for everything they can, which is really just taking advantage of fans.

It reminds me of when Billy Corgan released Zeitgeist, his first Smashing Pumpkins album after starting to work under that band name again. (I won't call it a band renion, 'cause it really wasn't.) Target, Best Buy, and Apple Music each had their own exclusive versions with a unique bonus track not available on any other edition. That was a massive slap in the face. At least that did not become a trend.

Pre-orders are actually quite logical from a business point of view. Imagine funding a new release - you either take out a loan, or if you're flush with cash take a chunk of that, to pay for the costs, then pay off the loan / refund your balances with sales post release. Or, put it up for pre-order, and you get the money from sales up front to pay for the production costs, and it pays for itself. It's effectively a kickstarter in disguise.

Aaaaand heres the Picture Disc exclusive to Amazon...

Right, but the real issue is the business ethics of not supplying ANY information about the release on pre-orders.

For instance, 'Not Final Artwork' aka 'For That Beautiful Feeling', was for sale before they had a mock up of the actual physical release, and or, any information about the tracks/length. I think the bonus of pre-ordering was having early dibs on British tour tickets or something.

Consume product, lemmings.
