Lovely piece. Thanks for sharing!

Glad Tom is getting to experience "a Norwegian cheese slicer made from reindeer bone". That's awesome.

I can't believe it's April! The album is out in just over 2 weeks! Gonna have to cycle down to my local and pick up a copy :)

Tom, you bring the bone cheese slicer (fun series of words ;D ), and I'll bring the aged 17 year old Wisconsin Cheddar :yummy

PSYCHE. No CD available - not even on Amazon.
Guess I'll just stream it with next to no money making its way back to the artist. Bummer.

It's $21.46 from the Tomora website, which is wild. Maybe it'll be more readily available in the UK?

Close your eyes and pretend your paying a premium at the Virgin Megastore for that import album you've had your eyes on.

A bit disturbed an established musical artist like Aurora has never heard "Good Vibrations".

Also, since Aurora is enamored by the Hanna soundtrack, is there any possibility Tomora might go on to cover the Hanna Theme vocal version LIVE?

I'm here for the cheese. Did someone say cheese?

Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.

You might be in one of the best places for cheese these days ;)
Wolf Alice is the best band alive.

Rumors have it that there will be a new exhibition at Tate Modern around autumn about Swiss cheese, and at the Le Gruyere torso you can listen to a new track by Tom'n'Ed called The Cheese Drill

It's 237!  That's also the best number because it would make you the Turbo Nutter of the deluxe owners

That's a fair comparison!

I think I'll hope I can find 30 minutes to sneak away to Rough Trade when I'm in London next month and snag a copy then.

Or... HMV? Is that guy still kicking around? And, more importantly, does it have CDs inside!?!?

So apparently, you need to see the live show in order to get to hear The Thing as it was supposed to be, because they forgot - a thing!

more Hanna love from Aurora in that interview. I admire she has such high regards for that movie/soundtrack.

It will be interesting to see if Aurora is again ever featured in a Chemical Brothers collaboration, or will that now be reserved for any further Tomora work? It's quite obvious she's very comfortable in Tom's head space, and I'm sure it's an absolute delight for him to have such a willing and tremendous vocal talent explore and expand on his concepts.

I am not sure which song they are talking about, Aurora mentions The Thing and then Tom says "In A Minute"?
Either way, Aurora says that they should re-release the song and Tom says something about a live version and I'm all for it

If I understand correctly, they forgot to add a baseline similar to 'In a minute' to be part of 'The thing'. So the album version on 'The thing' is incomplete which they fix in the live version.
Can't recall both live versions that specific from the Manchester gig 😄

And sure, bring on a live album next year or so. Als great for Aurora fans because 1 of het songs is only been played live by Tomora and not by herself.

There seems to be another UK restricted Obi version as well.

Well said! So nice to see both artists inspiring each other and opening up a whole new world to one another without any boundaries and expectations, to roam freely and explore strange new sounds. I do hope some of that mindset is going to spill over to the Chems project - esp. the analogue soundscape.

And btw, did Aurora casually drop Japanese here and there?

That's what I got as well. It sounded like it a segue she is alluding to. It was kinda cute how she said "they were stupid" to leave it out by accident :D

Here's a video of The Thing from Manchester but it cuts off before the final part, so I guess the added synth isn't included here:
