GTKO from last year live now. Sound is terrible(((
Hi Kevin!

So it's just GTKO and Eve from the last year with terrible sound. Meh.
Hi Kevin!

crap did I miss it?
"The music Gets Louder, The Lights swirl faster, the chap who freaks out hasn't passed the acid test... A surprising number of these youngsters don't even know who Timothy Leary is..."

I ended up being sick last weekend meaning...I actually got to watch this on the restream. Yes, the audio wasn't the greatest. It was interesting to see how the buildups had progressed since the west coast dates a few months earlier.

I ended up watching all of the Saturday and Sunday broadcasts in nostalgia fever bliss as I reminisced over old acts, The experience of being on the grounds, hearing the new acts from the Rookie-a-go-go package they put together, and the urge to make it back for the 4th time one day. I swooned in particular for the tribute for the Fuji Rock "King" Kiyishiro Imawano.

That would have blown my mind. If I had a mind.

"We going up!" and then pogo for the stars

Now we can confirm RAR has two Peppermint Patty stickers.

New visuals for Another World?

Which would mean a return of the song to the live sets at some point, I'm all for it. One of their best opening tracks.

Oh, forgot about that. Yep, that's more likely than AWs return to live sets.

I think it was an original idea for "rain come down like tears" sequence.
Hi Kevin!

Smithandlyall confirmed in comments it was scrapped visuals for GTKO

Really intrigured to see what Another World will be
I can't take the hearbreak of you leaving me again
And I'm not the one I was back then, no, no, no, no
One thing I can't take is to sit home all alone
Do what you like, my dear, but I'm not staying home

"exciting new project called Another World" makes it sound more substantial than just new visuals and a return of the song to the live set, right? Or am I just being wishful?

Nah, it's totally a new big thing. They talked about it being an experience and that everyone being at home right now was an opportunity to explore things in a different way.

Annie Nightingale was the first female DJ/presenter on BBC Radio 1. She's still going, though surely of pensionable age by now.
Her son Alex used to manage Primal Scream, until the Chems nicked him.

Yea though I walk through the valley and shadow of death
every day of my life,
I fear no evil for The Lord is with me.

no idea, no idea

There are some great anecdotes from Ed and Annie.

Tom & Ed showing up for the first time at the Hacienda at 6:00 PM on a Friday cause they didn't think they would get in as students (and then getting dinner in the club).

Love for Orlando and DJ Icey

How the show at Victoria Park last year was two minutes away from being called off (I remember actionjackson saying the rain made everything miserable).

Very Loyal fans. Cliche of fans being "Old dad's on the run, Ex-Ravers".
That would have blown my mind. If I had a mind.

Being from the states, my only familiarity with her is her dj cut ins when BBC broadcast some of The Orb at Woodstock '94 (because I have a bootleg).
