I wonder how many tout-like snipers were lurking out there to get a good share of these limited editions just to put them on ebay at premium prices.

That really is the worst. Happens in every collectible market, too.
Uh... everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?

All thats left from Amoeba is WATN and EPD! I assume some copies will be available at the store on Dec 9 or earlier maybe.

@Bosco
Wouldve been cool if all of them were in a box set just like you said.
This is up there. Like, Star Guitar up there.

As someone that has dabbled in a similar practice, reselling limited edition vinyl by the Chemical Brothers, doesn't exactly scream FREE MONEY! The total amount of re-sellers coming out of the pre-sale of these vinyls, are probably less than 5%. That is unless, I'm totally oblivious to a revitalized collectors market. But even then, I find it hard to imagine the profit margin to be worth a re-sellers time.

That being said, I'm slightly concerned I might have underestimated the demand on these, and should have just ordered from Amoeba when they were available.

I'm imagining Amoeba only recieved maybe 10 copies of each lp hense the quick sellout. Like Bosco said this seems too quick for scalpers, and Caroline seems invested in getting the records out to small record stores everywhere.

Just put my order in upon seeing this tweet. No tax apparently. And slightly cheaper than amoeba.

It seems Bullmoose is getting good traffic since their website won't even open for me. Looks like I'm gonna miss out on these releases.  :'(

Hmmm, website worked perfectly fine for me all day. Granted I've been accessing it on my phone until now. If you need help ordering Csar, I'll help you out.

It's this site, isn't it?

I keep getting a "network time limit exceeded" type of message.

Am I being stupid waiting to buy it in person? I was going to take it as a sign of whether or not to fork out the money but that RED vinyl is looking so dang pretty.

I do wish the text was a little higher on the cover though... Clearly cropped for the CD and left extended for the vinyl. Looks a little strange, no?

Try this link (direct link, instead of tweeted tinyurl/smarturl link) :  http://www.bullmoose.com/search?q=the+chemical+brothers&SC=1

Otherwise, I'll help you reserve some.

Edit: Apparently only shipping to United States according to their FAQ

I did not notice that until now. It does look strange. I hope that isn't the final print.

It would be the first print with that extra bit on top. All the previous versions of the LP have the text in the same place as the CD. As far as I can tell...

ALSO. I just spoke to Rainy Day and managed to reserve a copy of Come With Us and Surrender to pick up on the 9th  :music

Bought the reissue of the fantastic album 'Push The Button'. The repress ist abolutely fantastic. So glad they reissued their whole back catalogue on wax!!! Can't wait to buy the rest.
So let your body rock...

I just got an newsletter email this morning from Astralwerks. In the newsletter they mention about the new C.H.E.M.I.C.A.L. being available on iTunes. But what really caught my eye was this change:

apparently they are going back to the edit cover version?

New promos are running with the handless cover too.

I wonder if there was a run of WATN re-presses with the original art?

In the other case, the handless cover was never put on vinyl, so it's even more unique now.
Never for money, always for love.

Just saw that too. I love the original WATN cover :(

So glad I already have the original vinyl pressing and is not wore the fuck out.

Again available for preorder on Amoeba. If it's limited to a 1000 copies of each album and available in 238 independent record stores i wonder if it's really limited to a 1000 copies each. Marketing?  :-\

Hm. 1,000 copies at 238 stores is around 4 copies of each batch. Well, at least it's good news for those who weren't lucky to get hold of a copy.
