There are some great anecdotes from Ed and Annie.

I appear to have previously misunderstood the Push The Button anecdote about the guest vocalist doing a "runner". I thought it was Q-Tip who had run off. But no, it's someone who heard Q-Tip and felt intimidated by his contribution!
Well Anwar Superstar (Left Right) would be the obvious candidate wouldn't he? The only other rapper on PTB, and perhaps rightly intimidated by the superior quality of Q-Tip's flow. Anyone know any more?

Edit: Unless this is the K-os story told in a different way?

Now that would make my day if Ed was stating his case for the K-os story. Somehow I'd believe Ed more. Would also be chuffed if he brought up the story just cause I brought it up with Kevin.

Mind you, it could of been Kele from Bloc Party.
That would have blown my mind. If I had a mind.
"We going up!" and then pogo for the stars
"why yes, yes you are crazy and I love you for it!" Whirly

Should this have its own thread?

IT'S MORNING TIME!

I was just about to post this in the "for those who have money to burn and collections to fill" thread  ;D

£5 isn't really a lot of burning
Eight or over.

So, chances to win only for UK people?
Hi Kevin!

Terms & conditions say it's open worldwide!
Never for money, always for love.

Chems just postet this on their Instagram:

It's a slideshow of all of their albums, with the text "What's next from @thechemicalbrothers ?"
Could this be a hint that there will be a new album announced in the not-too-distant future?

My thinking exactly, but I'll remain cautiously optimistic for now

I don't expect anything imminent, but the combination of all album artworks and "what's next" certainly got me curious.

Box set
This is up there. Like, Star Guitar up there.

Did a photoshop of Horsepower. I still wonder if the lighting was CGI or convenient timing, since the rain during the concert fits too well.

"The music Gets Louder, The Lights swirl faster, the chap who freaks out hasn't passed the acid test... A surprising number of these youngsters don't even know who Timothy Leary is..."

It's a small ~5 minute phone recorded interview with Tom halfway between a ~1 hour long show.

Probably the most interesting takeaway is the development of TDTYF was started in March of 2020 when the global pandemic started to be realized. But before the creation of the track they just finished rehearsals in preparation for their 2020 gigs, which I presume might've meant changes from the 2019 setlist?

Nothing really more to note. Just chit-chat about working through the pandemic. No where nearly as fun as the Zane Lowe one back in 2019.
