Colin Benders' sets are incredible

On Mary Anne Hobbs's show today Robert Del Naja was a guest and he has given his first interview in 11 years* (cannot believe he's not given interviews in the past 11 years, maybe this is just for the BBC or espacially for 6 Music). The interview is about "The Act 1.5 Climate Action Accelerator" and about Massive Attack's effort to reduce the climate footprint of their shows.

You can listen to the Interview on Sounds HERE (starting at 26:55). After that there was a playlist curated by Del Naja including couple of remixes from Massive Attack songs, you can listen to that here CLICK

During the interview part a remix of Protection by Brian Eno was played. I never heard that before but i must say i love it =>

It's 237!  That's also the best number because it would make you the Turbo Nutter of the deluxe owners

Anyone remember this?

Deb Grant has played Mount Paloma's Drag while sitting in for Lauren Laverne this morning, and it immediately grabs my attention. Never heard of him (or them?) before.

Echo Chamber

The King's Gambit (this one has a bit of EML Ritual vibes)

A couple of tracks from the recent/current Essential Mix from Ela Minus.

Kassie Krut - Reckless

POPOF - Sync Out
This 2024 release seems to be a re-work/re-release of a track called "Sync In" by Silent Breed (2008) which was remixed by Popof at the time. I think the high pitch FX from around 2:05 would fit into a Chems DJ mix quite nicely.

And finally a track by Ela Minus herself. This is also in the Essential Mix. "I'd love to shave you but you've got to shave yourself"
Ela Minus - UPWARDS

So Chat GPT used Ratatat's - "Neckbrace" in a commercial during the Super Bowl here in America this past Sunday. Not my favorite Ratatat song, but a pretty big victory for the band even though I'm a bit skeptical of AI technology. Their last album 'Magnifique' (2015) was amazing and I really hope they can make a comeback.

Fun live too!
