Around the time of all the Falling Down/Shock of The Lightning mixes, this one passed me by. This is what Primal Scream's remix should have sounded like.

IT'S MORNING TIME!

Really digging this Bob Moses album.

Should be a decent opener for Underworld next month.

Wow nice ! I wasn't expecting this at all.

M83 also released their new single and it's awesome

Probably my 2 fave tracks from the new album:

(the rest seem a bit too gimmicky for me but thats Tigas's vibe I guess. These 2 stand out and seem to go somewhere else with the production of the music a bit more interesting with the lyrics)

...'cause I don't like whats going on in the world. I'm scared of that...

Great song to a riveting series.

"You cannot eat money, oh no. You cannot eat money, oh no. When the last tree has fallen and the rivers are poisoned, you cannot eat money, oh no."
— Aurora (The Seed)

That would have blown my mind. If I had a mind.
"We going up!" and then pogo for the stars
"why yes, yes you are crazy and I love you for it!" Whirly

Odezenne - Vilaine

One of the weirdest French bands I've heard lately, but I think I like it

I guess anyone using an EMS VCS3 can't go wrong.

Anyone else felt a bit underwhelmed with Primal Scream's new one? This single is probably the best thing on it for me:

More Light (last album) was a grower for me but this new album seems like it's not even them. Maybe cause it isn't in some ways. Less adventurous compared to albums in the 90s and early 00s.

Yeah, I'm a long time fan and seen 'em live perhaps 10 or 11 times. And I think this could have been better.

It doesn't help that the opening track is like a pale imitation of Movin On Up. I also think some of the songs are too electro/pop in their execution and would be better as rockier tracks. "Feeling Like A Demon Again" could be re-written/played as a mean-assed shit kicker of a track, instead it's a bit half-hearted. "Blackout meets the Fallout" actually does have some XTRMNTR intensity but it's a mere two minutes of the entire (38 minute) album. "100% or Nothing" is good though, and at this stage in their career maybe we just need to be grateful that some good stuff is being added to their body of work.
