Tbh I mainly associate Oasis with that one of them provided the vocal for some great Chems songs XD
Oh and they made the song that literally every dude with a guitar is legally required to play.

Fair.

(Not speaking to you directly, @Stefan.) Even if you don't have an opinion I would say some undisputed respect should be given to the Gallagher brothers. Oasis' worldwide success bleed into The Chemical Brothers thanks to a couple smashing Noel collaborations. I don't think Chemical Brothers would be the success they are without them.

135 GBP for standing tickets...

Haha, I don't doubt that they are a big name, and that the Collab with a big famous artist will surely have helped the Chems career :)

Some small parts of Buzz Tracks and Intergalactic work really well together

So did Eminem and Katt Williams go to the police about Diddy or just use their knowledge for their own material?

Spoiler
It's a triple entendre, "got so many essays" he's got a lot of written raps, then "S-A" he's alluding to his Mexican homies and the final "S-A" is alluding to diddys criminal predator behavior. Which is why he comes back with "he didn't just spell the word rapper and leave out a p diddy" which is another double entendre play with diddy being a terrible rapper and his criminal predator behavior again.

IT'S MORNING TIME!

Hey brothers and sisters, it's been a while.

I was going through a lot of heavy stuff for an extended period of time. Things have mostly "righted" themselves, and I now have a great job as an IT Project Manager for a trauma-informed children's department handling an entire state, so that's a big improvement since I was last here. It's something I like doing, and having experienced a rough childhood myself, I finally feel like I am working for the good guys. Note - The good guys don't pay as well as the corporations.

So, here are the two reasons I'm checking in:

1 - One day a 2016 Confusion Remix became available under New Order's singles on Apple music. If you are unfamiliar, seek it out! I cannot stop listening to the Ooh-Wee Dub and FVMSTR Remix!

2 - This next one is embarrassing. After 22 years I only just realized the guitar in Star Guitar is from Bowie's Starman. STAR. GUITAR. DUUUHHH!! I was just chillin' with headphones when I made the connection and felt SO stupid, especially since I'm pretty good with recognizing familiar samples.

So...I'm gonna peek through the conversations I missed and maybe comment on some old shit.  8)
Uh... everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?

Just learned that Kraftwerk's "Autobahn" has turned 50 last month (first release November 1, 1974)

Just caught a BBC News segment interviewing Chris Hoy 2012 London Olympic Multi-Gold Velodrome winning athlete, who also thanked the Chemical Brothers after gold medal win, has terminal cancer.

I think there were a few more interactions with Chris over the years (didn't Tom do a charitable cycling event with him or something?).

Sorry if I'm late on this, sad news.
