@nekoland, the video isn't accessible but I caught the Instagram story via Chems.

So what's the deal with the sudden public appearance from Thomas Bangalter?

Not who you tagged but here goes. The whole thing started when Thomas and Guy-Man gave an interview saying "We're still friends, we still share a studio and equipment; We just went different ways musically. (See Guy's only song post 2/22, Modern Jam by Travis Scott vs. Thomas' Operas, film scores, and art pieces.) Guy has always been the more shy and background one of the duo. The only time he's been seen is at Weekend 2 back in 2024 with Justice at Coachella and a review in a guestbook at a restaurant in Paris. (Although Busy P says that Guy is working on an album) Thomas in the interview mentioned above said "With the current day status of AI and Technology, as much as I love this character, the last thing I'd want to be right now is a robot"
Take this brother...

Looks like Block Rockin Beats is featured in a Calvin Klein ad with BTS member Jung Kook! Never expected these spheres to ever intersect, maybe we'll get a few new fans in here in a few weeks :D

Oo-ee, bit wobbly on the old feet!

Just saw this on the TV this evening and came here to post it  ;D

In September a couple of films starring Lily James hit streaming at the same time: "Swiped" and "Relay". I've liked Lily James since Baby Driver so I had a look at both.
In the case of Swiped, I didn't actually watch it all. It looked so boring that I just kinda skipped through it. It's about the woman who founded the Bumble app. I guess if you're an app developer you might like this, but otherwise it's more Zzzzz than Buzzzz.
Nonetheless I happened to land on a scene where Lily plays ping pong (badly) with a tech bro in his funky office (with an indoor slide from one floor to the next). In order to liven up the bad ping pong, they put some high energy techno underneath. And that track was this:

IMDB lists additional needle drops from Goldfrapp, LCD Soundsystem, Daft Punk and Kele Okereke. But I don't think even those tunes could save this film.

Relay on the other hand, was a very watchable action/conspiracy thriller kinda thing. I wasn't crazy about the denouement, but it was a cool vibe and benefitted from a strong performance from Riz Ahmed (Star Wars Rogue One). So choose this one - no Chems tunes though.

More film/TV thoughts for 2025 in the "watching" thread shortly.
IT'S MORNING TIME!
