That was a little uncalled for, don't you think?
Just a little daydream about fan love being reciprocated! Don't read into it too hard!

I need the Miguel version of the album

It's sort of a biography/ live experience type of book.

This dude made it to the big leagues.
Maybe @Biff already secretly made a deal with Tom, Ed, and the label to make the children's book of his kids adventure to Santa Barbara I purposed here:  https://forum.thechembase.com/index.php/topic,3241.msg31017.html#msg31017
That would have blown my mind. If I had a mind.
"We going up!" and then pogo for the stars
"why yes, yes you are crazy and I love you for it!" Whirly

In the 107.7 The End interview, Ed says they are still in the studio. I'm starting to think the album drops in October after the live shows settle down. And then another more global tour versus festivals next year.

It's my impression that he is cordially answering without giving away any major details. No offense to my Pacific Northwesters, he's not going to spill the news of a new album, on a simple interview for Seattle radio.

Oh yeah, and Ed is a fan of Potassium and Oxygen.

Cheers to that. Getting all giddy for what's to come.

Ed mentions that he doesn't remember how many Coachellas they've played at. Maybe Whirly can help out here ;D

I have some doubts about that. Tom appeared rather tight-lipped when I asked about how his kids liked his music making in the Q&A back in 2016.
"You cannot eat money, oh no. You cannot eat money, oh no. When the last tree has fallen and the rivers are poisoned, you cannot eat money, oh no."
— Aurora (The Seed)

Kids are usually really embarrassed about their parent's taste in music.

A book? What type of book?

Confirmed information: Book has 240 pages. Page 3 to 112 are cooking recipes (mostly jerk chicken), rest of the book is about the best three haircuts in the past 30 years.

I knew you'd bring this up. How will I ever be able to atone for the biggest mistake of my life?

that's it. time for me to start preparing to resist the pre-sale of the inevitable overpriced limited edition.

I don't need it. I can do this.

This is up there. Like, Star Guitar up there.

Random thought, wonder if we will get a recorded DJ set as part of lead up to "XDUST12"? We typically get one within the six month window of an album release. Here is a small list of what I remember (not sure on official release dates)

Essential mix 2019 (April 2019) = No Geography (April 2019 release)
Chemical Christmas Mix (December 2015) = BITE (July 2015 release)
Facebook mix 2007 (September 2007 release?) = WATN (July 2007 release)
In Glint / MTV NYE 2001/2 (December 2001 release) = CWU (January 2002 release)

They are always good for a few rarities and unreleased chems tracks.
That would have blown my mind. If I had a mind.

Maybe something Apple music?

Think they wouldn't do another essential mix so soon
Live: Latitude 2021, Field Day 2022, Kalorama 2022, o2 Arena 2023
DJ: Fabric 2021, Printworks 2021, Printworks 2022, Glastonbury 2023

Apologies if this has already been mentioned but noticed this on the Universal Music Store link on the website. Wonder if there's an announcement due very soon?

Preordered the new album and the confirmation email has a release date of October 27th listed.

Looking at the email the album is called "not final artwork" and has a very minimalist in glint vibe

In nature there are neither rewards nor punishment- there are consequences
